Rory is back!!
Sooner than I expected, Rory is not only back in Lorelai’s life, she is back in Yale. And she is pursuing her dream aggressively - she now has a job at an actual paper!
Well, boy was that enough to floor me. It was rather sudden. Just ‘oh I am back and I am so sorry’ blah blah. Not as drawn out as I expected.
Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s great. Lorelai will be ok to get married (who knows about Luke now), and things will settle down.
Now, when it comes to Rory’s love life, who knows. Will she go back to Jess? Stay with Logan? Neither?
But, in the end, the Gilmore Girls are back together. The love and the laughs and all the fun will return. Mostly. And the lalas confirm it. It’s a reconciliation.

I’m glad, but after waiting for sooo long, I wanted a longer reconciliation scene! It was so short.

it would have been nice to have a long one, but they do everything fast, so it reminded me of the good ol’ days: when they got along and rory wasn’t wasting her life with logan

I don’t like Dean. He cheated on his wife with Rory and then got mad at Rory for it. I like Jess but they can’t get back together on the show because Milo said he felt like his character was done.
