Oh Lorelai, you hold true. You fess up.
Phew.
It really isn’t a big deal that he’s paying for Yale. Or that they met cordially to discuss it.
But Luke is being ok with it because he has his big bomb. Not because he’s good with the Christopher situation.
For once, Luke understands how complicated parenting can be when exes are involved. But his is worse, for reasons we all know. That he didn’t know, and that he isn’t wanted, even if he wants to be responsible.
So, good and bad. He missed his opportunity to tell the truth.
And his guilt is building. He even tried to call the daughter secretly. Arg.

It’s really stressing me out the Luke hasn’t told her about his daughter. It’s just going to make it worse with him putting it off like he is. She needs to know.

A friend of mine suspects that they may have “jumped the shark” (as in, had a moment to which the show’s downfall can later be traced)in having a child of Luke’s appear from out of nowhere. I’m wondering if anyone else finds this a huge error, or do you like the direction they’re going in?

I think that Lorelai is VERY pretty!!! I think Lorelai and Luke are meant for eachother!!! lorelai is my idol!!!

I’ve seen every single episode of the gilmore girls and in each one you could see that Luke and Lorelai had feelings for each other in the beginning. And as the years go by their feelings blossomed in love. The fell in love. Now i know the seasonal finale for the 6th season both, shocked and startled me, i know deep inside Lorelai knows she is for Luke. Her running to christopher was a thing she used to always do in the older seasons. But at the finale you could see in Lorelai’s eyes what she did wrong. but you got to look at Luke’s perceptective too. He has a child now, new responsibilites, and making sure his fiancee is happy. But the plot, i think, in the 7th season will be Lorelai and Luke having to fix what was broken or let go of what they’ve been building for about 7 years. If they are truly in love, Luke will forgive Lorelai and Lorelai will forgive Luke. I understand the problems of weddings and stuff, but Lorelai needs to know that she’s not the only one who’s going to have to go through the wedding. And Luke needs to understand that he has put this thing off for Lorelai, and she has gone through this once (with Max), now she’s doubting herself. I think Christopher needs to get out of their lives and finally let Lorelai have the love she wants and Luke with the family he deserves. I know Christopher doesn’t actually BUD in, but every problem with Lorelai and Luke there’s Christopher in the background. I think Lorelai needs to open her eyes and pick the man who will love her…. and if she picks….. that man ought to be Luke Danes. :)
