Gilmore Girls: Bridesmaid Revisited

Recap of "Bridesmaid Revisited":

Open cut to a cute scene at the diner where Kirk is smelling Lorelai. hehe. He’s doing a juice fast. Seen that - so not healthy.

Rory will be in the "Young Voices of Journalism Panel" today. Christopher will be there and Lorelai warns Luke.

Lane, who looks amazing this season, is pining over Zach and filling out a flyer to get back in a band. Lorelai gets a bit jealous when Lane says she plays games with April - when Lorelai doesn’t see April because Luke wants the "alone time". hmm.

Rory at the Yale Daily actually trying to coach Paris in writing - frankly surprised Paris still works at the paper. And she’s in a serious funk. And apparently playing jazz on a trumpet.

Zoom to Zach - hmm, guess he’s important hey? - playing on the banjo? He notices Lane’s poster and gets upset.

Fast action over to Logan and Rory - the latter who is primping her fancy expensive outfit for the Panel as Logan gets ready for a wedding rehearsal. He pulls a romantic moment and returns to give Rory a kiss.

Rory rocks the panel - both well spoken and funny. Lots of big words. ;)

Christopher complains about being a "dad" - in his words, finding a good nanny and getting a good private school. Um, yeah. Lorelai offers to babysit GiGi if needed.

Zach coming to check up on the old band members. Well, we all know what he wants - to get them back together! And they are all in - provided Lane is in. Because they love her and it’s oh so convenient for the show.

Zoom to the wedding. Rory in a really beautiful jacket. Planning to just work while the wedding prep happens - as Logan is there early - but Logan’s sister ropes in Rory to be the "designated dresser". She seems happy… so far.

Gigi comes to visit Lorelai. She looks pretty but she’s a bit of a devil child. Nothing against hyper kids - but she’s a bit over the top.

Back to the wedding. Ok, to much switching. Anyway, love the wedding dress. I know Leora will notice the champagne and white dress as being high on my list.

Now the bridesmaids get chatty. Warn Rory of all the old pervs who could potentially squeeze her ass. And onto Logan - when all the bridesmaids reveal they dated Logan. Well, not dated so much as slept with. And all of them around Thanksgiving/Christmas. When they were on their temporary hiatus. How many girls does he sleep with at one time? Seriously, that’s a bit overkill. He was obviously torn up over not being with her, hey? That was his story, anyway. Poor Rory.

Whoa, GiGi is a horrible little kid. Destroyed the house, drew all over the floor. Screamed like crazy.

Ah, the confrontation. Rory skipped the wedding because she was so upset that "Logan let her walk into a room of girls Logan had sex with". She calls it cheating. He says no. Logan said they were broken up. Rory said they were on a break that no break-up happened since there was no conversation. She gets angry about the number of people he slept with and that he didn’t tell her. And she is going to move out.

Zach confronts Lane. And saying quite nicely (especially for him) how sad he is and how much he misses Lane. And then proposes to Lane in the diner - with a ring too. And Lane says YES. So, we have a happy couple. And Lane is so cute bumping into things in her giddiness.

Christopher comes back to the disaster that is Lorelai’s place. Apparently GiGi tried to flush sheets down the toilet. Interesting. And Lorelai confronts Christopher about GiGi being spoiled and more than just "spirited" - and he takes offense. Makes sense now why GiGi has trouble getting into private school and keeping nannies. Poor kid, totally not her fault - it’s just how she learned to get her way all the time.

Rory getting drunk at a bar. And Doyle is there getting drunk too. Both with couple issues. Paris threw out Doyle. Rory because of the "many many blondes" in her words. Of course there will be a perfect solution for Rory - just don’t know what it is yet. They both stumble out drunk. And Rory offers her jacket to Doyle. Looks hilarious on her.

Christopher calls Lorelai as she scrubs her floor. Apologizes as she is right. He doesn’t know how to say "no" since GiGi’s mom left and he was to angry to say "no". And here is the disaster waiting to come… Lorelai offers to help fix the GiGi issue - i.e. help parent - which will be destructive for her and Luke.

Rory goes to Paris for help - and probably a place to stay. She lies and says she is there to console Paris. Then discloses the breakup with Logan. And we then have a bonding session over the "men suck" mantra. Paris offers to let Rory move back in. Rory breaks the news to Lorelai. And that’s it.
