Edward G. Herrmann (aka Richard Gilmore) gets his groove on at a club. Look, he’s even holding a purse!

And, by the red in his face, he’s been drinking. Naughty Richard, now what would Emily say?

BTW, I’ve always wanted to point something out…

Why is he still listed in the credits as "Guest Appearance" when he’s been on at least half of the shows per season?!? Drives me nuts!

There was a comment on one of the DVD extras regarding the “special guest staring” of Edward Herrmann but I don’t remember specifics - it’s basically so he stands out - kind of like Heather Locklear in Melrose Place - he honored the Palladinos with appearing in their show and therefore gets special credit.

I have the same problem with that “special appearence” thing

In my country we would call him a green old men… meaning, a men that is very awful and likes younger girls… But this picture shows he’s completely disgusting!! YACK

That was a very amusing response. The girl in the picture is probably a Gilmore Girls fan that was out and saw him and wanted her piture taken with him. Nothing dity about that!

I always wondered about that guest appearance thing too. But now I think I get it. I love this show! It’s my favorite show ever! It’s also funny how every comment on here is about the guest appearance thing. HAHA
