  umm………..HELLO!!!!!!!!! they have to!!….the whole show has been about them… the first 4 seasons was about her going through her several romances before realising Luke was the one for her and then season five was all about how they make the PERFECT couple. If they don’t get together in the end, I will be so shocked because then the whole show was kind of pointless!!!!

  i totaly agree that the show would be pointless i started watching it a year ago and i have all the seasons. i don’t think Lorelai should go through anymore pain over guys. all it has been is her going out w/ a guy almost getting married then somthing happens. its getting anoying!

  jess, the season six is ok, but not qutie as happy as previous seasons. its a little darker, but watch the episode “the real paul anka”—its my fave!

  Awww… Today I was watching the last episode of the 4 season, when Lorelai opens the Dragonfly Inn and Luke give her their first kiss!! so cutee^^

  They obviously will - eventually. It’s going to take time. As Ausiello pointed out in his blog, the first few episodes will likely be painful for LL fans. In the end, we all know they are going to be together.

  It’s like on Friends. Ross and Rachel ended up together despite trials and tribulations. Soul Mates are Soul Mates. They get lost sometimes, but eventually find their way in each other’s arms.

  haha….aww im so stupid!!! i must be pretty self involved as well to automatically assume its me that u love…lol……..evry1 keeps saying “come back jess” and i think there talkin bout me and i feel special, then i realise they dont mean me and i feel so foolish!!! lol oh well!!!

  They probably will, because luke has been waiting the whole show to get to Lorelai, and now that he had her, he wouldn’t just let her go. And plus, i bet Lorelai couldn’t go a whole season w/o Luke’s coffee, or food, which will probably be burned again, like in season 5

  yeah but if they stay happy forever it gets boring so they just shake things up a bit before they finally get together for good. Plus do you guys all know that Lukes character was originally a girl? What would happen then.

  The story will be ruined for me if they don’t get together again. The re-runs will be unwatchable, and I’ll put my DVDs on eBay.

  He found out he had a daughter but he didn’t tell Loreali till 2 months after he found out about her. Lorelai met April at the Diner and April introduced her self as Luke’s Daughter. Lorelai is confused and Luke finds out was happend and tells Lorelai he feels like June 3rd (their wedding date) is comming up too fast and so he and Lorelai postponed the wedding. Lorelai was not ok with this but didn’t say any thing about it. Then Luke would not let Lorelai meet April, and that made Lorelai sad but still she didn’t say any thing about it. Through out the season we see Lorelai not being ok with the April situtation but doesn’t say anything and Lorelai gets pushed around by Luke. Luke is oblivious to Lorelai’s true feelings. One day Anna (April’s Mother) lets Luke throw April a birthday party at the diner with out Anna there. The party is a disaster, because Lukes a hard ass, and he asks Lorelai to come over and fix the party. Lorelia makes the party a hit and the girls end up sleeping over at the diner. Luke sleeps downstairs in the storage room and Lorelai sleeps up stairs with the girls. The next day Anna comes to the diner and chews Luke out for leting a woman who she has never met throw April a party, and he let Lorelai all alone with the girls all night. Luke is embarrased and tells Lorelai about this. Lorelia knows that she would not be seeing April again any time soon unless she does something, so with out the knowledge of Luke she goes to Anna’s store and appologizes and tells her that she’s normal. Anna says she can’t let non permanent people into April life Lorelia tells her that she and Luke are ENGAGED is pretty permanent. Anna points out that people get engaged all the time and don’t get married. Lorelia is sad about this, but again says nothing to Luke. In the season finale Lorelai talks to a psychologist who convinces her to lay down the law to Luke. She needs to tell Luke how she feels or else she wont end up getting married to Luke. Lorelai is afraid that if she pushes Luke she will end up loosing him, the shrink points out that she doesn’t really have him now, not the way she wants any way. Lorelia goes to Luke that night and tearfully asks him to elope with her, he tries to calm her down, by saying he has April to consider, Lorelai lets it slip out that she talked to Anna and after they get married every thing will be fine. Luke is mad that Lorelai went to see Anna and Lorelai starts to appologise but stops her self, because she has been saying nothing for months just being patient (not really)and she’s sick of it. She tells him she loves him and he has to marry her now or never. He doesn’t like being pushed and says not now just wait. She says she can’t and leaves. The next thing we see is Lorelia at christopher’s apartment asking to spend the night cause she’s had a bad night. Then we cut to morning where Lorelai is naked under Christophers covers and he is in his boxers, they slept together. The reason im mad at Luke is because he let Lorelai walk out of his life and then Lorelai went to her rebound guy (which im not happy about) but still I find it stupid that after Lorelai gave him an ultimatum Luke didn’t throw her in his truck and drive to Maryland and get married. Lukes an ass

  i just watched season 6 for the first time, and i dont h8 luke like other people do, which im glad about….i still love him. :) and i still believe that he and lorelai are meant to be together….although i am kind of angry that he let her walk away from him in the finale, but its not like lorelai gave him a chance…she just walked away and went to chris’ (WHICH MADE ME SOOO ANGRY)…. i bet if she hadnt gone to chris’, the next morning luke would have thought about it and would be happy to elope….but now lorelai has ruined that coz she was stupid and went to chris :( SO ANGRY WITH LORELAI AND CHRIS!!! but i have hope that she and luke will find a way to work it out, and there will be a happy ending :) *fingers crossed*
