  i was an L&L fan but now chris is growin on me. especially after luke was such a jerk and let lorelai just walk away. but its chris . . . mr.fade and come back wit a splash AND RUIN LORELAI&RORY’S LIVES. I’M TORN!

  I was an L&L fan but cvhris has grown on me but I think that she is using him. Chris loves her more then anything and she is using him for the moving on guy. I don’t think that is right.

  I agree, Lorelai is trying to fill the void in her life with Chris, and it isn’t fair at all to him. But Lorelai never thinks straight when it comes to guys- we all know that. I also think Chris is either stupid or in denial if he doesn’t realize what Lorelai is doing. He knows Lorelai like the back of his hand, so he should know how much she loved Luke and how hard it is going to be for her to fully commit herself to a new relationship.

  What I think is ironic is how a situational issue –April– is ultimately what seperated Luke and Lorelai, and situational issues used to be what separated Lorelai and Chris, but now they don’t. It’s like a paradox, but I think that the love between her and Luke is way stronger than the love between her and Chris, so when Luke finally sees clearly, she will fall back into his arms.

  I love L&L but Chris is REALLY growing on me. Like I know all the stuff he’s done in the past, I mean I wanted to kill him in season five but season six.. he gets better and season seven he gets really good. But I dont like how Lorelai is using him as the rebound guy. He’s always the rebound guy. I feel sad for Chris at that point. I just hope that if Lorelai chooses Chris — she chooses Chris because she ACTUALLY loves Chris.
  Luke’s cool too but season six… I really wanted to throw a rock at Luke in season six. It’s all because of April. April, April, April. He just ignores Lorelai and focuses on APRIL. Who wants to throw a rock at April? Cause I REALLY do. HAHA.

  you’re so right, Lauren. chris always shows up when he shouldn’t and luke never left her alone he’s and will always be there for Lorelai and also for Rory. Chris was never there for his daughter. I don’t like him.

  I agree, anyone would know that Lorelai loved Luke and still does. I think this is just ruining it. Yeah sure they look cute together but I wish it were Luke there with her.

  Lauren and David are really beautiful people, and looks great together. It is ironic that if Lauren and David really had a child together it would look alot like Alexis.

  Okay, these pictures are cute. Chris is starting to grow on me, but only from the “we’re only doing something that we’ve been trying to do for a long time and are finally at somewhat the same place at the same time and free to do whatever” perspective. Not to say that I think that it’ll work out this time. Who knows what will happen there. But I think it’s sweet anyway. He makes Lorelai happy (at least until he does something to mess it up, but I think that with new depth being added to his character this season, he won’t mess it up, not to say the elopement will work out though) and there is still 3/4 season left for things to work out and not work out and completely surprise us.

  This is depressing. I can’t just forget that for four seasons the producers and writers have been portraying Luke and Lorelei as absolute, can’t live without each other, soulmates. I also can’t forget that Chris made a commitment to Lorelei approximately two, three weeks after he left Cheri (how long does it take to find out you’re pregnant?) and then left one day later. I can’t forget that he showed up to Richard and Emily’s Vow Renewal and got drunk, basically ruining everything between Luke and Lorelei when he knew that they were seriously committed to each other. I despise DESPISE CHRISTOPHER!!! He’s a slime that takes advantage of whatever situation comes across his path, no matter how it affects Lorelei and RORY, his daughter!

  This relationship, to me personally, is coming across as completely unhealthy, despite their “history together” they can’t manage the palpable chemistry that Luke and Lorelei had up to Season Six.

  And I’m insulted that, while yes the pictures are cute, and Lauren Graham is absolutely gorgeous, I can’t just buy into this “romance” that they’re portraying.

  Agreed on all acounts, except I don’t think Chris is a terrible person at all. I really don’t think he has ever MEANT to hurt anyone- with Sheri, he really just wanted to do what he didn’t do with Rory, and in some ways, I can appreciate that. And the wedding thing was really just a profession of his love, in a drunken state, and while it was wrong, he had good intentions (sort of). He’s not the bad guy, but he’s not the RIGHT guy. The new Rosenthal interview makes me SO happy because it alludes to Luke and Lorelai getting back together. Let’s just keep that in mind! In the meantime, Lorelai is taking a journey and will probably grow from it, so let it be. Rosenthal won’t let us down!

  i hope chris figures out that he is the rebound guy because then he could maybe break it off with lorelai. i mean she always has him as the “rebound guy” thats why luke never liked it when she went to see chris. but if chris tells lorelai to get out of his life (very unlikely, but anyway…) she wouldnt have a guy to be her rebound guy. (you guys probably dont get this but i just had to get this all out)but i also want to say that i think lorelai is being the foolish one. if she just cheats on chris and luke shes left with nobody. so just pick already

  Never liked Luke, never will. I’m old fashioned, I think if Lorelai and Chris work it out it’d be great. I think that it’s right, I really do. Chris is a good guy, kind, understanding, a bit stubborn, but he’s a lot more polished in my opinion then Luke. Luke was a…. I can’t say it here but let’s just say I wanted to drop some boulders instead of throwing rocks. Let’s just say I always thought he was pretty gruff, which turned me off from him since the beginning. Also I hate Logan, I liked Josh, I wish he was back. Damn Rory, she is dead to me…

  I really hope that Lorelai and Chris can make it work this time - they wanted to commit a long time ago, and then Sheri was pregnant. They deserve another chance! Luke was just a jerk ever since April walked into his life.

  i think lorelei is acting totally different. she seems more… i don’t know. not sure of herself or something. she doesn’t seem like her self. she doesn’t seem happy. like it’s all for show. i think she was genuinly happy with luke. give april a break. she’s just a kid trying to get to know her dad. i like Logan also. he seems sweet i just hope he doesn’t do anything like hurt rory. that wold be awful.

  I think lorelai and Chris are made for eachother,
  but i think lorelai is still kind of using Chris to get to Luke and i just dont think she knows it herself and I am also happy for her and chris for not feeding into Emily and Richard, trying to put them together but for lorelai and chris doing what they want.

  I agree with Veronica! Chris & Lorelai…they just don’t have the spark that Luke & Lorelia had together. Keep your fingers crossed that the new writer is reading this blog & wakes up.

  I’m just sick about this show. I was THE all-time, die hard fan; loved, loved, loved the show. But now I feel let down and extremely disapponted in the turn this show has taken. I don’t know if it’s the writing, but things are NOT clicking. I can’t see a way back for Luke and Lorelai. She has committed the ultimate treason. I wouldn’t take her back, and neither would the Luke we have come to know through this show. So what does that leave us with? I’m still rooting for a dream sequence. I’m so invested, will watch until the end, but the end can’t come soon enough for me.

  they look ok together i guess…but i agree they don’t look right together, i liked luke in the 6th season, i thought he and lorelai made a cute couple…. i don’t really know what to think anymore.

  When I saw Girlmore Girls for the first time, I immediately started hating Luke. I thought he was a jerk and he was always grumpy at someone who has critique about him, or his diner. But when you really start thinking about it, you find out that it’s not that he’s being a jerk, but the diner means so much to him. That’s what I like about him.

  But I would say, my future husband (or boyfriend, whatever) will never be Luke-like. I just don’t like the way he dresses. Always the hat, always the same shirt and jeans. I still stick to my point that my future husband will be Christopher-like. He has to have a sweet side and of course…he has to look cute. So, I’d say the looks of Matt Czurchy and the sweetness of Chris. But Logan is sweet too. Ah…Logan is just (as humans can be, cuz no-one’s perfect) perfect. But I still like the Chris/Lorelai pairing. To be honest, I still prefer CL more than LL. But is was up to the writers, I guess.
