There is something bigger than *spoiler* elopement coming for us down the road. Indeed, in February, something just as big!

i think it could be Christopher asking Lorelai to married him.
they are verry connected, more than before, and Christopher is trying to “get” Lore back.

I think it will have something to do with a lor relashonship. it could be logan coming home and asking rory to marry him. it is a termendous posiblity.

It’s either something to do with Luke and Lorelei, Rory and Logan. ALl of the Christopher/Lorelei stuff is happening this november-january. It could very well be another baby as well. I’m almost 100% sure it has something to do with Luke/Lorelei, they aren’t necessarily getting hitched, but something big is in the works…

On another spoiler for eppisode 7.10 it said something “big” will happen between Luke and Lorelai so maybe the spoiler for Febuary will have something to do with that? Also when it said there would be a baby boom in Stars Hollow it said MORE than two babys so either someone is having twins or another person is pregnate.

Ummm…is it just me, or will anyone else be REALLY annoyed if Lor just “RUNS BACK” to Luke as soon as her and Chris break up like she “RAN” to Chris?? I will be PISSED OFF if they do that, it just makes Lorelai seem heartless and dumb! But that’s just me!!

It’s either Logan proposes to Rory, Lorelei get’s pregnant with……well…someone’s baby. Or something dramatic brings Lorelei and Luke together.
It could be that Lorelei and Chris get divorced or “split up” or whatever. I’m totally convinced that Lorelei doesn’t love Christopher. In one episode it’s completely obvious that he is kinda/sorta her solution to her breaking up with Luke. She keeps making comparisons to Luke, in one episode she says she doesn’t trust themselves yet. It’s very obvious that the relationship is unhealthy for her, kind of unfair to Chris, and downright despicable for Rory, Sookie and anyone else who knows that Lorelei is completely head over heels in love with Luke still.

I don’t care what happens anymore, just as long as Lorelai realizes the error of her ways, Luke finally realizes he can’t convince himself he can live without her, and Chris realizes that he is being used and that Lorelai is still in love with Luke, no matter how much she avoids/denies/whatever about it. I am excited to see the drama their elopement creates but I want it to be short-lived.
Grrrr I’m getting so impatient!! February is so far away and there is the long break between the Christmas episode and whenever it starts back up at the end of January/beginning of February… I just want L&L together. And for Lorelai and Rory to be happy. And for this not to be the last season.

I don’t think it will be Richard, because we know from spoilers he gets sick but doesn’t die. So, that wouldn’t require an asterisk spoiler from Ausiello, it’s not big enough.
It has to be couple related. I think babie related - the spoilers have hinted at a 3rd baby and another wedding, so…

The spoilers say something big happens between Luke and Lorelai but that doesn’t mean that the really big event in Febuary has anything to do with it. Don’t get me wrong I love Luke and Lorelai there my favorite couple but I don’t see Lorelai almost getting married, breaking up with Luke, getting married, getting divorced and then getting pregnate and/or getting married to Luke all in one season. It probably has something to do with Rory. Maybe Rory gets pregnate, Logan is in London but one of the spoilers say that Marty comes back, maybe she accidently gets pregnate with his child. Or maybe it has nothing to do with anyone getting married or pregnate it could be someone dying. We know that Richard doesn’t die this season, but it says nothing about Emily. Or Ana could die and Luke would have to take care of April all by his self, and maybe eventualy asking for Lorelais help. All of my ideas are farfetched and quite posibbley crazy but lately the show has been a little weird especialy April coming out of nowehere…

well as you have listed so many things it could be its anybodys guess as to what the big thing is.Im still really pissed and annoyed that she married chris. That was something i cant really se her do in the way i know her. I cant se lorelei spending years to build up her self, her life getting the inn, raising lorelei would throw her whole personality away and marry some body she never had anything but some sort of puppyteenlove for. Sure he is father of rory but still…Okay rambling (and full of spelling errors, sorry im danish) but the big event will most likely be something concerning rory and lorelei, not any townspeople.If the series as it seems to now, are ending it will be a closing thing, and how can the show be closing with Lorelei and chris together and not luke? also rory has to graduate and be on a path where the show can close her off to, im just not getting her getting married to be the answer. I mean…she worked so hard to get her education and on top of things…she wants to be a forreign correspondant. So if she married and setteled down it would be a waste of the build up from all the seasons…rambling…ill stop now

DA, I agree with you, AS ALWAYS! :) I’m so glad there are people that feel exactly like I do!
I am SO excited for this February event, and really, for any sort of drama on the show. I feel like there is so much built up anticipation and I’m just ready for everything to happen already! Have you guys read the episode description for Lorelai Planetarium? (It’s the episode after French Twist) Lorelai tells Rory that she got married and Rory is angry with her, AND Luke and Lorelai finally interact!! I’m so anxious to see their interactions- I think it’s unrealistic that they haven’t encountered each other much yet.
As for the February event, I’m not sure what it is. I think Rory and Logan are really right for each other, but I don’t think it would be detrimental to their relationship to break up or explore their options. (As opposed to L&L who I feel are ready for an amazing marraige!) Could it maybe be L&L’s baby? I mean, Chris and Lorelai are rumored to divorce before Christmas, so couldn’t L&l “make a baby” between then and Feb? Haha I hope so…I’m trusting the writers more and more. Rosenthal really seems to know what he’s doing, and I think he believes L&L are soul mates. I know I do! :)

Yay for Rory being mad!!! That should knock some sense into Lorelai… or at least start to. I am glad she is going to find her own appartment!! She doesn’t need to be THAT dependent on Logan. I mean, I like him, but I’m still not sure they’re so perfect together. Then again, there’s not exactly time for Rory to find another guy and get serious with him, especially if this is the last season. So we’ll see.
HOORAYYYYY!!!! Luke and Lorelai FINALLY talk again :) I wonder if that’s when Luke finds out she married Christopher… I wonder what he’ll say… I hope it’s something that will make Lorelai think!! This is going to be a great episode!!!! Just one small step at a time…

I read a spoiler a while ago saying that Chris will help Luke and Lorelai get back together. But if Lorelai and Chris are married -shudders- how the heck is he going to help?

Gilmore girls is such a great show, i wish it continues for many more seasons. Marty is so much better for Rory than Logan, he is a hard worker, not some rich spoilt child. I hope that Rory breaks up with Logan. I like both Chris and Luke but honestly I think Lorelai should be with Luke, they are fun to watch, especially when Lorelai is teasing and povocking him.

or possibly rory and…whoever she is with in february-as much as i want that to be logan (SO HOT) it might not be. im excited.
and chris WILL be kicked off somehow-he didnt sign a full contract and wont come on every episode. my guess is lorelai will give him the boot.

Yeah, it is definitely something in that direction. I read somewhere that while Luke is halping out Emily, she says something to the effect of “It should be Lorelai’s husband who is helping me” and Lorelai overhears the exchange or something- I’m pretty sure that’s only a speculation though. I really really hope that Emily plays a big part in L/L’s reunion simply because she had a hard time accepting him before. Maybe she will also bombard Lorelai about everything with Chris along with Sookie and Rory. Together, they won’t let Lorelai get away with it… they will make her come to her senses. I cannot wait to “cue the inevitable Lorelai epiphany”!!!! I just LOVE how MA said that. ha :)

Ok, here is my opinion on what will happen… I think “the big thing in February” is Lorelai and Chris making the divorce official b/c I’m 99.9% sure they are getting a divorce… then it will be Luke and Lorelai getting together and maybe before the season is over they will get the baby EVERYONE knows they need… If they have a baby this season I will start to apreciate the new writers b/c right now-I don’t. L/L are meant to be. Well there is still time. I heard about that spoiler about when Luke is helping Emily she said something like this shoud be my daughters husband helping me and Lorelai overheard it. As for Logan and Rory- there really isn’t enough time for her to make a strong relationship anymore so I hope he doesn’t like get mad at her for getting back in touch with Marty and like go sleep with bobby.b/c that is something he would do…
