Lauren at Carolina Herrera Boutique Opening
Lauren Graham went yesterday to the LA Opening of a Carolina Herrera Boutique.
Venezuelan couture queen Carolina Herrera opened her new boutique in Los Angeles Monday night, in an event that was graced by many celebrities including Angie Harmon, Brittany Murphy, Lauren Graham, Gabrielle Union and Rebecca Gayheart.
The 38,000-square-foot store, located next to Marc Jobs on Melrose Avenue includes her New York Collection and the Carolina Herrera Bridal collection. Additionally it will also showcase her new collection of sunglasses, Manolo Blahnik shoes and accessories by Judith Blahnik and Faraone Mennella. [source]

I have to agree, these are not the best pictures of Lauren. If you go to Gilmore Girls Dragonfly Inn and go into gallery then apperances/events for 2006 you will find a lot more pictures of this event. Some are just as bad, but there are some good ones too

Wow I second that you are all very harsh! She’s just quit smoking so like most people she’s gained a little weight. I think it’s harsh and unfair that she gets all this negativity about her appearance when she’s ultimately doing something to better her health. There are some photos from the even where she looks as gorgeous as ever!

I think Lauren looks gorgeous, healthy, and down to earth (she seems to have very minimal makeup on and her curly hair looks like mine does when I take a curling iron to it). She has such a trim figure and a beautiful face. I’m not crazy about the dress, or, at least, the weird blue brooch ON the dress, but that is a criticism of the designer, not of Lauren.

she does not look good in the clos up but the full shot she looks so pretty. Shes working so hard and she just quit smoking which is good and she might have a role she needs to gain wait for we should not judge her like that when we don’t know what is going on. Yes shes getting older but she is getting older buetifuly. She has almost know lines and she does not have a double chin its just a bad photo

I agreed with Ellen and Diana I am over 40:) Lauren always looks amazing ..I like Lauren s dress its look diffrent I liked it not matter what Lauren wore made her more comefortable dress she is looking great!!!!

I know I’m late on posting to this one, but I just found the site. Anyway, I’m 32 and don’t have the body of Lauren, for crying out loud. And if she was a smoker and she’s 40, of course she’s going to have crows feet and some wrinkles here and there. Smoking dries out your skin, after all. Pudgy…geez, people…no wonder there’s such a self esteem problem with teenage girls these days…when you’re calling Lauren Graham pudgy! For shame! Anyway, Lauren keeping it real makes her character of Lorelai more realistic. I always thought it was pretty silly that she ate mallomars and pizza all day, every day and never gained a pound.

lauren didnt just quit smoking, she said she quit when she was 30 but still come on shes still really pretty even thought shes 40, and its probably really hard for her to lose weight because lorelai eats so much and they (lauren and alexis) actually eat the stuff you see them eating,another reason is that they work for like 12 hours a day so she probably has hardly any time to work out

You don’t know what you’re talking about. In late 2006 I saw her with my own eyes smoking like a chimney. She could have quit the next day and been clean now for over a year but she didn’t quit at 30.

She’s on and off the smoke. In this interview from 2003 she says she quitted, but she was definitely smoking again in 2005.
