In the hospital waiting room, Lorelai (Lauren Graham), Rory (Alexis Bledel), and Emily (Kelly Bishop) anxiously await word on Richard’s (Edward Herrmann) condition. When Logan (Matt Czuchry) hears what is happening, he borrows a helicopter to be by Rory’s side, but Lorelai is unable to reach Christopher (David Sutcliffe), who is still angry over their fight the night before.
Upset by Emily’s attempt to remain calm by dealing with her social calendar, Lorelai is relieved when Luke (Scott Patterson) shows up unannounced and volunteers to run errands for Emily. Christopher finally arrives to be with Lorelai, but the scene at the hospital is more than he can take.

I found your site through a blog reader, and I’m so excited! It really is the best place to find news. I can’t wait for next week’s episode. Emily is definitely in denial. I just kind of wish the whole Richard has a heart attack stuff didn’t seem so much like “Forgiveness and Stuff” from season one…

IIRC, the last time Richard was in the hospital (way back in Season 1), Lorelai and Luke were protesting that they weren’t involved, to which Emily replied “You’re both idiots”. I had taken that less as an insult as Emily telling them “can’t you see what’s right in front of you?”
Looks like deja vu all over again! Can ASP sue for plagerisim :)

I don’t think that Richard’s health crisis is just like season one’s Forgiveness and Stuff. This is much more serious and it the start of a lot of big things that will be happening later in the season.

I cant wait to see how Chris reacts when he sees Luke there with Lorelai…i know he wont be able to comtain himself. I think it is nice for Logan to come and comfot Rory. And i think that it is so sweet of Luke to come and help Emily to run errands..remember when he and lorelai went to dinner at the Gilmore house with Emily and how she made him sound like a ” Crap pile” and how he was so nice to her and how she kept insulting him and indulting him..maybe this is a chance for him to get in her good graces and to finally get to Marry Lorelai!!!! This is awesome! I cant wait for next weeks episode!

oh my gosh. yea this is totally like forgivness and stuff. well not richards condition but how luke is there for lorelai. its totally weird cuz i was just home sick and i watched season 1 and forgivness and stuff during that and its a really nice episode. I dont know. i just like how even though some 6 years have gone by, in the end, whose at lorelai’s side? not her dumb husband, but luke. always has been…always will be. yea still not that fond of logan. im ready for them to be done. they’re just getting boring.
I was really impressed with the episode on tuesday. it was good. this new writer is doing a good job now. it was a shaky start, but its getting great. but thats about it. im super excited for this next episode. its gonna be great!!!!!

We have a description for episode 7.15 “I’m a Kayak, Hear Me Roar”:
“At a Friday night dinner, Lorelai works up the courage to tell her parents about the break-up of her marriage, but is derailed by their argument over the healthy meals and no-alcohol policy Emily has instituted to help Richard recover from his heart attack. Lorelai enlists Sookie to bring Richard healthy but delicious meals, then helps Emily organize Richard’s business affairs. Over a shared bottle of scotch, Lorelai finally tells her mother about the breakup of her marriage. Rory attends an awkward birthday dinner for Logan with Mitchum Huntzberger, who asks her to help him steer Logan in the right direction. Later, Logan receives disturbing news about the online company he purchased. Also, Luke shares his home with Liz , T.J. and their baby daughter while their house is being fumigated.”
Also, Paris and Doyle are listed for this episode, and Rory makes Logan a birthday breakfast in his New York apartment.

I get it all from crazy-internet-people.com. They use the spoilers on Fan Forum. Fan Forum has some spoilers that may or may not be true, but pretty much everything they have said in the past has been true, so it is a pretty reliable source.

Yeah, I use them too as one of my sources. They tend to get neat stuff, like the tour info. Sometimes they don’t have everything, but I try to put everything from all my sources onto the Season 7 page in abbreviated form, and on a new post if it’s really juicy.
But I have to admit that em gets some stuff even before I do! I think you’re in an earlier timezone than me. I wake up and there you are with all this new stuff ;)

I am really glad about the baby shower. It was starting to really annoy me that Rory wasn’t around much for Lane and neither she nor Lorelai had thrown the shower yet in typical Stars Hollow greatness.

*sigh* You guys are being too picky about the season one “Forgiveness and Stuff” heart attack SCARE. They probably had him have a heart attack because we know he has a heart condition already. It makes more sense to use something from previous seasons to make it more realistic than if they used something completely different like a nerological thing or cancer. I applaud DR for using previous episodes for references, which he does often.

Oh my!! I can’t wait to see this new episode. But raise your hand if you don’t want luke and lor to end up together AGAIN cause I’m raising mine!! They were good but those things Luke said to Lor on the first episode of the 7th season those things can’t be taken back and Chris is just upset but he really should be there for Lor. And awwwwww the spoiler says Logan rushes to Rory’s side he is so hott and such a good boyfriend, thank god rory’s done with jess god that horse was dead now the writers can stop beating it.

I think that you are wrong about Rory being done with Jess. After all he was really her first grown up love and I think that she is still in love with him. Logan is the one that should be out of there. He is real sweet to Rory when he is around but there is more to Logan than we have seen in the past. I think that he is more like his father than we realize and he will be showing his real colors in the next few weeks. Jess on the other hand has always loved Rory and I think he will return before the end of season 7

I hat ehow some people are acting like Dave Rosenthal is doing such a bad job. He, as Em said, has been on the writing staff then entire time. He wrote a bunch of excellent episodes. And look at how excited all you guys are? Give him a break. The first half of the season he just had to get out of the tension ASP ended season 6 at.

Luke and Lorelai belong together. Period. Remember the episode Lorelai was talking to the Phsiciatrist (sp?) in front of Emily’s house? She was like ‘I dont think I really ever loved anyone until Luke’. They love each other and would do anything for eachother.
As for Logan, he sucks as a boyfriend. Look at all the things he has done to Rory over the years- she dropped out of Yale cause of his stupid dad, she was heart broken multiple times…
And who got Rory back at Yale? Jess. He’s the only one that really understands her. And shes one of the only people that understand him.

Ollie, Milo has said multiple times he is done with GG’s. But I agree with everything you said.
Logan is just a rich boy who tries to win Rory back every time they break up with expensive gifts. He has GOT to get a grip.

I finally started enjoying season seven now that Luke and Lorelai are at least talking and growing closer. Chris and Lorelai don’t cut it. They are too different and no emotions between the two of them.
As for Logan, I couldn’t see Rory with him from the start. If not Jess, Marty’s feelings for Rory would be second best. The writers don’t seem to think she has feelings for Marty, but I like them together. He isn’t a spoiled brat like Logan. Rory can do better, in the long run Logan will break her heart.

Where are you all seeing DSR being on staff since the first season? The first episodes I’ve ever seen him credited with was in season 6. He wrote 2 episodes with one of them being my all time favorite(Super cool party people)!

i agree luke and lor are right for each other. i think that her and cris’ marrige is marking time. she didn’t want to leave stars hollow becuase she wanted luke still. luke is her first choice and preiod she has no second choice its luke or go on with her life. she can’t live a good life that she will actullay enjoy without luke! there i said it! i mean they flirted at lukes forever back in the old days! i mean they totally liked each other! i mean remember the episdoe she walked up and said luke do you know a lot about dating? and he said no. and she said me neither and then they smiled and started talking an smiling like they were a married couple which maybe soon they might be.

He may not have been writing epsidoes at the very begininning, but he was always on staff, i.e. helping with episode plots, writing, scripts, etc.

I read it and it didn’t sound like they were talking about DSR being on since the pilot. Seemed to me Amy was talking about the rest of the cast and why change would be difficult. From what I know, DSR was brought on during season 6, his very first year with GG and his first episode written was The Undergraduate.
If DSR was on since the beginning of the show, I’m sure that would be the first thing out his mouth in every interview since so many people won’t cut the man a break.
