As Emily tries to console Lorelai about Chris, saying blood is thicker than water, and then leaves, Lorelai glances ever so slightly to the bags of food that Luke had just brought for them… a very subtle clue to what she’s thinking about.

emily was perfect i never really watched an episode that made me cry but when emily broke down i cried. i can’t believe it takes richard to be in the hospital for it to be good show but if thats wat it takes than………wow

i can’t stand chris either sara. he is extremely whiny. and i don’t understand. if you’re father-in-law is in the hospital, you go to he hospital no matter what. cannot stand him

when emily says “blood is thicker than water” does she mean that she is lorelai’s mom so she will stick by her, or does she mean that chris is lorelais husband so it will be worked out.. because i thought she meant the mother thing, but my friends thought the husband thing… maybe both? any thoughts?

Could it be a refererence to Rory, since she has Christopher’s blood, hence the familial ties.

02/10 - It’s the annual Stars Hollow Spring Fling. Lorelai and Michel are busy welcoming new guests at the inn. Michel is irritated by the cheerfulness of the visitors. Rory is on a train back from Providence. April gives Luke a bracelet. Later, Lorelai, Logan, Rory and Michel, along with some tourists, go to Spring Fling in a bus rented by the Inn. At the event, some Inn guests are skeptical about a maze made out of hay. One kid is especially not that excited because no one will chase him or shoot him with water guns as he goes through the maze. Logan goes through the maze with the kid. I thought that it was a great episode. It’s funny…I noticed when she looked at the food bags at the end and my dad had no idea how i could realize it.

I am so sad to have Lorelai and Christopher breaking up. It was SO right to have them together - the touching, hand holding, kissing - it all seemed real, and loving. Luke and Lorelai didn’t have that same loving relationship. Marriage doesn’t happen overnight - they need to work out their communication problems. Lorelai has not been fair. Chris needs to hold in there and be there loving her forever, just like he said to Jackson. Lorelai needs to remember how she told Rory that she really wants to be married to (Rory’s) dad. Poor GiGi! She shouldn’t be dragged into a home and a family only to be jerked out again. Common David Rosenthal - make Chris and Lorelai grow up and be real adults for once, and make their commitment equal the love they have always held for one another!

gilmoreadict, chris is a whiny jerk who deep inside is still a child. he is so immature. lorelai belongs with a guy like luke- a REAL man who SHE loves.
