  Three thoughts:

  1) It’s clear that Lauren is truly the offspring of at least one Irish parent — rather than be born on March 17th, they made sure she was born the day before so that she can already be drunk on St. Patrick’s Day.

  2) Lauren’s birthday, Yanic’s birthday, the 150th episode being 7.19, which probably wrapped filming a couple of weeks ago, the season finale coming up. So many excuses for the cast & crew to party — I hope they picked all of them.

  3) Kirk just invaded my head with his random tactlessness and said, “Lauren, please get pregnant so that they have to write it into the show!” Uhhhhhhhhh, sorry?

  Anyway, Happy Birthday, Lauren, and we’re hoping to see you have to go through it all over again next season when Lorelai turns 40!

  Wow! thursday march 16 lauren Graham will be 40 which is so hard to believe.
  Lauren Graham is like an idol to me, but I don’t worship.
