Gilmore Girls delayed
The return of Gilmore Girls after the break has been pushed back from the CW:
Looks like we’re stuck with Gilmore Girls reruns for another of couple weeks.
Sources confirm that the CW has pushed the show’s return back a week to April 17. As a result, the season — and possibly series — finale moves from May 8 to May 15. According to a CW insider, the net "wanted more original Gilmore episodes in May."
So does that mean they are rewriting episodes?

That’s so funny…I just found that link and was about to post it! Anyway, I voted for GG, so hopefully we’ll get it…I’m just so sick and tired of it being dragged out for so long. They’ve been talking about this for months!! And I just think the show will end stupidly if it ends this season, and I won’t buy the DVDs for this season if it ends this year either…no point in having the complete collection if it’s just going to end stupid!
On another note…last night I had a dream where I was in Gilmore Girls and I single handedly brought Luke and Lorelai back together complete with pissing Christopher off and Luke singing to Lorelai, Miss Patty, Sookie, Babette and Michel. It was GREAT!!! Then they kissed at the end of my dream and everything was great (oh, and Christopher threatened me…which was kinda funny because I didn’t care). SO..ummm…maybe it’s a sign?? :)

Come on!!! I can’t wait another week!!! And I voted for GG. Can that actually do anything? I mean, isn’t it up to the people who work on the show?
Oh, and just to point out, “To Whom It May Concern” is the rerun for this week. Let us relive the magic of the Lorelai and Chris break up!!

Oh no not again until April 17th.I still pray for want stay Gilmore Girls other season of 8.I really hope Lorelai and Luke get back together this season.I already vote GG like 6 times,lol.

It does not bode well for Gilmore Girl fans that they have pushed back the final shows to May. It feels like they have to put a bit more effort into tying up loose ends in order to end the series. Very disappointing.

Hey there is some new stuff on crazy-internet-people….
First, a little about Rory’s graduation…

and then here is an account of a tour, when they were filming this episode-
“Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a short report about my awesome Deluxe Tour at the WB. My tour guide (TG) was awesome and very knowledgeable about GG. I went with my sister and there were some other GG fans on the tour, so we got to see everything. All of the indoor sets were very interesting to see. We saw the elder Gilmore’s house, Paris and Rory’s apartment, the Dragonfly, Yale, and the CS (though only through the kitchen as it was a hot set). We got to see Rory’s desk in the middle of the elder Gilmore’s driveway (though not a driveway at the moment) for some kind of dream sequence that is filming, along with another set from seasons past We also got to walk through SH (when my sister and I did a regular VIP tour last year they were filming the running scene at Lane’s wedding so we didn’t get to see it), however we couldn’t take pictures because they were setting up for a scene in SH and were filming a scene of Cold Case down one of the streets. After lunch however, we got to go back and watch part of a GG scene being filmed. We saw Lauren Graham and Melissa McCarthy (who said hi to us and was talking to our tour guide). What we saw of the scene was Lorelai and Sookie walking across the town square towards Weston’s that really doesn’t give anything away because we couldn’t hear anything, but I tagged it anyway. All we heard was Lauren asking for tape before they started filming, and when Melissa joked with us that it took being on a deluxe tour to get to stand in the shade (it was very warm in the sun). It was asked about an 8th season, and hopefully Sassy has other news, but the TG apparently was talking to a producer the other day and things didn’t seem hopeful :( But we should know definitively one way or the other by the end of the month (I’m guessing TG was talking about this month, so that means only a week to go). All in all, it was definitely worth the extra money to do the deluxe tour. My sister and I had such a wonderful time and really got to see everything that we wanted to see (minus Studio 60 stuff and anyone from that show, but they were all busy filming in both sound stages all day). I did feel bad for the other people on the tour who do not watch GG being we saw everything Gilmore (though we did see a lot of other things as well, but the majority was Gilmore), however no one else spoke up when asked what they wanted to see/special interest’s/etc, so I don’t feel too bad. So if you go on a tour, make sure to make your wishes known, it really seemed to help today.” **Corrections in spelling made***

Happy (but basically known) news from crazy-internet-people-
“Luke and Lorelai will be romantically involved before season/series end but just how much depends on season 8, but we will know where they stand.”
Then news on the next few episodes, titles, what happens to Lorelai’s doll house, and Luke and Lorelai…
“Jackson stays at Lorelai’s house for at least one night. (I don’t know the whole story behind this)
Jackson breaks Lorelai’s dollhouse from her childhood
Lorelai will finally go to Luke’s for coffee, with all eyes on her and comments from Kirk.
Luke will help Lorelai shop for a new car after the jeep breaks down. (They decide to become friends again in episode 18 )
Paris breaks up with Doyle and later misses him.

Ugh. I need new episodes!! I wonder if they are rewriting them…hmm. I hope so. Maybe this is a bad sign, that they are prolonging the last episode. Like if they are rewriting it, that means they want the scripts to be very good for the last couple of episodes.
Okay, I’ll try not to think that…

Perhaps my comment does nothing to do with this spoiler but I´m from Argentina and this week we can see Farewell, My Pet and beyond the broken in this episode Rory talk abou Isabel Allende House of the Spirits, today in my country 31 years of the cruellest dictatorship in our history they are completed and it was a nice coincidence that we have that episode. Isabel Allende narrates in that book the history in Chile, in Argentine was the same

Hey, I just wanted to share something with you. Gilmore-ism.com has a newsletter, which, of course, I signed up for. I just wanted to show you a few things from the letter.
First, he pointed out that the town troubadour will be back on Gilmore girls in April, according to Grant Lee Phillips’ website.
Another thing he put in the letter was this clip that he found of Lauren Graham talking about her 40th birthday. It really doesn’t say much, it is less than 30 seconds long, I am sure, but I thought I would post it anyway.

Then, also he explained his song choice for the video about Luke and Lorelai that I posted the link for above, and he said something that was really sweet:

Some part of me has to believe that Luke’s love for Lorelai goes so deep that nothing she could do could really destroy it. When they broke up in season 5, she called him, tears in her eyes. She couldn’t even put together a cogent English sentence, she was so upset. And he rushed over, just because she called him and she needed him. He didn’t even stop to think of what the implications were. Lorelai needed him. He was there. That simple.
And he looked positively heartbroken when she apologized for calling him, as though she didn’t actually need him.
Some part of me has to believe that not even Lorelai going off and sleeping with Christopher, and marrying him… Not even that can destroy Luke’s love for her. When Richard was in the hospital, Luke was there, just as he had always been. He didn’t even stop to think of the implications. She needed him. He was there. That’s what love does.”

I have voted for Gilmore Girls; written to WB’s for the great8mandate twice; desperately want an 8th season badly. IN MY OPINION ONLY, this “will they” “won’t they” is really starting to get boring and I am slowing losing interest in the best show on t.v. They have issued no positive statements for the fans and I,quite frankly, don’t want to watch the ending of the wonderful show.
On a happy note the news from fans who have done the tour is really fun to read about and thanks to those who share.

I think the probable reason for the season finale being moved back is because there will be no season eight. When the writers were first writing for this season, I’m sure they thought there would be, so they didn’t tie everything together with their season finale. Now, with Alexis most likely leaving, they have to find a way to make their season finale a series finale as well.

Well i dont care what you think!!! thats horrible … just because it ends stupid doesn’t take away the creativitness and funniness of the other amazing episodes… i think if you dont purshase season 7 then you are just stupid and missing out… dont threaten to not buy season 7 cause becasue guess what? …. NO ONE ELSE CARES!!
I personally LOVEEE GILMORE GIRLS i own all the seasons and have watched each episiode at least 6 times…..
i Do NOT want Luke and Lorelai to get back together… I have always loved Lorelia and have grown to hate luke … at the end of season 6 he didn’t want to right away get married to Lorelia he missed out …. thatss his fault … Lorelia DESERVES CHRISTOPHER!!!
they look aborable together!!! Luke didn’t care about lorelia’s feelings, he only cared about April and everything would have been fine with April after Luke and Lorelia were married!!!
