Screen ASP’s new show: “The Return of Jezebel James”
Just got this email asking me to help promote ASP’s new show, which is called "The Return of Jezebel James" - they are looking for people to go through the show.
Amy Sherman-Palladino, the creator of Gilmore Girls, and Daniel Palladino, the executive producter of Gilmore Girls have a faboulous new project called, "The Return of Jezebel James", starring Parker Posey (Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and Party Girl) and Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under).
If you are interested in attending a private run-thru of the show on Thursday, April 5th at Paramount Studios in the afternoon, email us at thereturnofjezebeljames@yahoo.com and we will give you the details and even pay for your parking. You must be 18 or older.

Yeah, its gonna start somewhere around the beginning of the summer. I can’t wait! And Scott Cohen is starring in it? I wonder if Amy wanted him because of Max?
Oh, and something I was reminded of, since I am watching my old episodes. I tried going to misspatty.net, and it actually brings you to the WB home page! Just something I wanted to point out.

Say adios to Logan!!!
According to crazy-internet-people and the latest TV Guide Vodcast “The Ausiello Report”, Rory and Logan break up in episode 21, Rory’s graduation!!
Also, there is a transcript for an interview with Liza Weil, AKA Paris Gellar. Nothing in it really, it’s pretty short. She does say like a sentence on season 8, though.

I hope ASP knows not to get her hopes up because alot of people will never watch the show because of the reason she left Gilmore Girls. I don’t think I will watch it.

I love Parker Posey!!! She’s a not-at-all-annoying indie! A Palladinos show with her is such a great idea, I hope it actually happens.
About Rory breaking up in her graduation… she has a problem with that! Didn’t she break up with Jess in her graduation at Chilton?

Do you know why she left? She has said there are more reasons than this, but the main one she has been saying is that she wanted a two-year contract with the WB, or now CW, and they wouldn’t give it to her. So don’t say she just left, because she didn’t.
ASP is an amazing writer, and I am going to watch it.

Give me a break people! Lest we forget who created the mess that the GG were in at the end of last season. We’ve had a new season of not only watching the new writers stumble (and happily I can say finally get), but have to work through the mess that was created. WHAT A HUGH MESS. For the life of me, I can not understand how anyone can jump on their creative boat again. Are you ready for them to have another hissy fit and leave a show that you get so attached totally shattered. Don’t be crazy. If they did it to the GG they’ll do it again. It comes down to money. Amy may be a great writer; however, arrogance can destroy any talented person. She didn’t have to leave the GG that way. She could’ve taken the high road and showed some class.. If anything we should make mental note of her new work and stay far away. Like anyone else (including actresses/actors) they too should be shunt from the prospects of a new program. They should have to Stand up and be accountable for their work after they found out that they were not signing for 2 more years. If they felt any loyalty to their GG creation do you actually think that they wouldn’t have been able to figure a way to make it work? Come one People.. Stay away from this one!

Just thought I should let everyone know that I’m going to the pilot run through for ASP’s new show next Thursday. I will let you all know how it went.
-And Alexandria, she didn’t leave in a hissy fit. Em’s right, CW wouldn’t give her and Dan a longer contract like all the other actors had.
