  Lovely photos of the family Gilmore. Kelly Bishop looks exceptionally good and have you noticed along the way how Rory has lost that “baby face”? The photos make me feel rather melancholy knowing this could be the end of a truly remarkable television series. Keep your fingers crossed for some good news regarding a new season.

  Rory’s smile looks kind of odd, like she’s not really happy about graduating. Or, more likely, it’s because of Logan. Hmm…

  In the first two pictures, Rory’s expression reminds me of Laurn Graham’s expression in the first of the series posted below where she was at some event.

  Happy 150 episodes Gilmore! The next episode marks the 150th for Gilmore girls. Congrats!

  New stuff on crazy-internet-people!-

  First, a little about Lauren Graham-

  “…she (Lauren Graham) has extensions in her hair for the rest of the season.”

  and a recap of the latest TV Guide Podcast. We should have the transcript soon-

  “They talked about the “possible” shortened season 8, and MA said that can be changed to “likely,” rather than possible. He said everyone’s talking about it like it’s a done deal, but that, of course, nothing’s on paper yet. Mike said that he wrote that it comes done to Lauren being the deciding factor because she’ll base her decision on what AB does. If Alexis says she’ll do, say, 8 episodes, Lauren will have to decide if that’s enough for her to want to come back. He said that Matt’s role in a season 8 seems pretty clear based on the spoilers. (But that was just his opinion).”

  Then a little about the next episode. Just so you know, the first thing you are going to see is Lorelai going into the diner. The director’s cut is the teaser (for those of you who don’t know, the teaser is the part of the episode before the opening credits). Then, somebody saw another promo for this episode. It is slightly different then the ones we already saw. We can’t see the new one, but we have a recap-

  “Just saw a slightly longer promo on the CW. A small difference that I was able to notice was that Lorelai says to Sookie, “I don’t know where to start…” after Sookie says they (LL) are friends and Lorelai says they have a long way to go. Also, they show a veeery short clip of Luke on the phone (backroom at the diner?) before you see Lorelai on the phone saying, “Luke…it’s Lorelai.” You don’t hear him say anything. ETA: Just noticed that she does say, “We have a long way to go…” on the on-site promo. I don’t know it struck me as different. Perhaps the visual was different? Or I’m just wrong.”

  and now, we shall finally see Kelly Bishop and Edward Herrmann singing-

  “…Emily and Richard singing at Rory’s graduation”

  Then, there is a little about the last episode and the end of this season-

  ” My mole on the set says we’ll definitely know that L/L are together at the end, and that there is “more than a handshake” but no love/bed/sleeping together scene. Mole says it is like the end of Season 4 (when they had the kiss at the inn) but cry me a river, they have gone through so much. In other words, if we do NOT get S8, we will be forever left with a Seinfeldish ending–knowing that Lorelai’s one and only marriage was to Prince Dopey, and that Luke and Lorelai are kind of at the end of where they were in Season 4.”

  and-

  “I was told that DR doesn’t want to make Lorelai look like a bed hopper(please no snarky comments about “Partings”), and that’s why we won’t get an L/L sex scene this season. I was told that we’ll definitely get one(or some) in season 8(if there is one), though.”

  Here’s an interview with Lauren Graham. They mainly talk about her college, but they do talk about the show a little and about the eight season. She answered the question like everyone else.

  Two things I want to say about this-

  1. In the article, it says that DR has only been on the show since the start of season 6. But, in the TV Guide Interview with ASP and DP, they say he has been on since the pilot (????).

  2. Just wanted to point out- they pretty much blame ASP for Lorelai and Chris getting together.

  Oh, Lauren looks so pretty. Her dress is amazing, great color. How is it that Edward and Kelly never seem to age? This looks like it’s going to be a great episode. Thanks for all those links too!! ^

  it is ASP who wrote that lorelai crawled into bed with chirs. and DR di dthe onl real logical thing which was to develop a relashonship.

  The photos of the season finale are really sad in a touching/charming kind of way. The ones of the townies holding “Bon Voyage Rory!” signs was especially heart throbbing since all the characters were there cheering for Rory, it was really nostalgic.

  The other photo that got to me was the one of Lauren Graham smiling sadly at presumably Rory all grown up. SHe looked like she was about to cry, but more because she was so proud of her daughter, you know?

  I really hope that this show get’s an extension because I want it to have more closure than it currently does

  Okay, everyone looks beautiful in those pictures, and I’m really excited for that episode. But, one question, is Luke going to her graduation or not. I’ve read places that he is, but in all of the pictures I’ve seen for this episode, I haven’t seen him. So, if someone could tell me whether or not I should expect him being at her graduation, that’d be great!

  Waffle, no, a recent spoiler told us that neither Luke or Sookie will be at the graduation. At first, we were sure they would be there, but now they won’t be. And yes, there will be at least 13 episodes next season.

  First, here is a link to the transcript of the latest TV Guide Podcast. They talk about how the played out the maze, which I thought was interesting. Especially the part about Luke and Lorelai. How they went their seperate ways but Luke still helped her out, kind of how it has been throughout this season, and basically the entire show.

  Then, a little about Alexis Bledel and a sequel to the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”-

  “Alcon and Warner Bros. have fitted director Sanaa Hamri into a sequel to the 2005 film “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.” The original core ensemble — America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel and Blake Lively — are all in talks to reprise. Plan is to begin production June 3, starting in Greece, then moving to New York and Connecticut. The challenge on the sequel has been squaring the availability of the actresses because of TV series commitments, but the hope is that all the actresses return. Ferrera’s career has taken off as the title character of “Ugly Betty.” Tamblyn is awaiting word from CBS on a pickup of “Babylon Fields,” the Michael Cuesta-directed drama pilot that also stars Ray Stevenson (”Rome”). Bledel had been expected to be done with “Gilmore Girls,” but it is now looking like a strong possibility that the show will return.”

  Then, some lucky person got to go to the 7th season wrap party-

  “So on Sunday night I got to go to the Gilmore Girls wrap party with a friend of mine. She worked on a pilot one of the GG writers did, and since they shot the pilot in South Carolina, the few folks that were back here in L.A. worked out of the GG offices and she got to be friends with everyone. Since she knows I like the show, she asked me to be her date for the evening.

  The party was at a club called Les Deaux, which I’d never been to, but was a really great space. The food was an interesting mix, little hot dogs and hamburgers and ribs, and then sushi! They also had martinis that apparently tasted like grapesicles (I was the designated driver, so I didn’t try one). The DJ was AWESOME, lots of 80s music, which was so much fun and great to dance to. The best thing though, is they had one of those photo booths like they have at arcades, where you climb in and pull the curtain and i will take four pictures (although since this was a computer and printer, they didn’t print in a strip, but four to a sheet). Let me tell you, you want to make a party, rent one of those, it was definitely the hit of the evening.

  The only one of the Gilmores there was Lauren Graham (Scott Paterson was also not there that I saw). But most of the other folks were. I hadn’t actually expected to get to talk to any of the actors, because it’s their wrap party and they don’t know if they are coming back or not, so, you know, it’s about them all getting to hang out. But I ended up chatting with Paul Adelstein (Agent Kellerman on Prison Break, also in the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off) who is married to Liza Weil who played Paris. In person he’s much sexier than the characters I’ve seen him play, so I’m predicting now if the GA spin-off goes, I think it will do for his career what Grey’s did for Patrick Dempsey. Nice guy too. Also talked to Michael Deluise, who is a childhood friend of a friend of mine. And since David Sutcliffe is also in the pilot my friend worked on, we were talking to him because she’d met him at the pilot wrap party two weeks before.

  I have to say, Lauren was being a sport, as various folks nabbed her to get in the photo booth with them. And David Sutcliffe is probaly one of the nicest guys, period. I’m pretty sure he took pictures with everyone in the photo booth, including us. They had originally scheduled the party to be over at midnight, but since so many people were still there, they kept it going another hour. Good party, though it made me miss working on a show a little bit. And I think it’s too bad that they didn’t know if they were coming back or not. After all those years, it would be nice to know if you were actually saying goodbye, or just “have a good hiatus” you know?”

  Then, there is a little more about the big graduation party-

  “Fearing it will rain on Rory’s graduation party in Stars Hollow, Lorelai enlists Luke’s help to organize the town in creating a tent out of tarps, shower curtains and other miscellaneous spare plasticin…”

  I think the first two pictures are really nice because that it basically what the entire series is based around. Rory graduating and moving on with the family together. But, I am crying at the moment. If you look at Rory’s hands she is holding a ring box and she is giving it back to Logan. This is their end and that makes me really sad… As Pamela said, keep your fingers crossed for and eigth season.

  ahh im so excited for next weeks show.
  season seven at the beginning was deff. worrying me, it wasnt the same at all and i only watched it cuz…you have to watch gg haha.
  didn’t mean i enjoyed it. but now that i think about the whole chris & lor thing.
  they had to do that plot becuz after so many years of wondering they both know it couldn’t work and lor really belongs with luke. so now them two can get on with their life as friends…i really hope theres a season 8.
  i don’t wanna be hanging on the whole luke & lor thing. and the whole thing about lor admitting that the singing iwaly was just cuz shes drunk im thinking its just a cover up cuz she really wasn’t drunk just “tipsy” as she said. and u know what ur doing when ur “tipsy”
  haha but im excited to see where luke sees her sayin this and everything!

  I have heard rumors that Rory and Logan are going to breakup at the end of this season, and to be perfectly honest about it. I think that that when Logan Proposes to Rory that She should say yes because them two belong together and I know that some people say that they are not ready to get married to each other, I think that they are ready because look at how much Logan has changed sence they have been dating, he left his family to be with her. So if them two breakup then the writers of the show are very stupid. I mean you just can’t breakup two people that have been trough every thing together.
