Alexis Bledel to be in ‘Pants’ sequel
Alexis Bledel will revise her role as ‘Lena’ in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants for the sequel - The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.
So, I guess we can squash the rumor that Alexis Bledel wants to quit acting!
Rumor has it, though, that the production heads are exercising their option for a sequel - likely contracted - to capitalize on America Ferrera’s newfound fame on Ugly Betty.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 will begin filming in June.

Of course, AB may not have any choice about coming back since her contract probably requires her return if the studio wants it.

DUDDDDEEEE i am so excited, because the first movie is my favorite movie with all my favorite actresses in it and the second book is the best (IMO). So this is going to be amazing.

Ahhh! I screamed so loud when i saw this! SOTTP is my very favorite series and now we get another movie! That’s amazing! Plus i really like America Ferrera. She seems pretty sincere about being a role model for average sized women[unlike Jennifer Hudson, I can’t stand her for some reason]. But yeah, I’m definitely excited! I had been checking Blake Lively’s(Bridget) imdb a lot lately, waiting to hear something about another Pants movie and now, it’s an answer to my prayer! And when there’s a second movie, that normally means at least a third, even if they don’t do the 4th book.

I heard the second movie is going to be about the 4th book, with bits and pieces from the 2nd and 3rd. It makes me mad. The second book was the best. But i’m happy too! Another movie! Yay! I also read in an interview (with I think Blake Lively) that they signed to do 3 movies if the first one was succesful. I read on TV Guide that America Ferrera wasn’t to happy about returning.

Where were there rumors of her wanting to quit??!? i thought she just wanted to explore other options like movies and producing and stuff like that? anyway… i loved this movie… she was amazing in it… as well as the other three lovely ladies. can’t wait!

The movie wasn’t too great, and i had heard rumors that Alexis wouldnt do season 8 if they were going to do the traveling pants movie and gg is FREAKING AWSOME *trys to stop hypervenilating* they wont stop at season 7 if alexis is in traveling pants will they??
because that movie is SO not worth it

I am Alexis’s and Lauren’s #1 Fan i absolutely love the show i’m so psyched there is going to be a second movie i read all the books and each of them only took me like 2 days cause i loved it so much i watch Gilmore Girls with my mom everyday its our favorite show and we are so like them! i love you Alexis and Lauren

Lucina, you are such an idiot, but I love you for that. Yes, it is true, we are the BIGGEST Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants dorks, and I am getting to her state of crazyness towards Gilmore Girls. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was TRUELY the best book I’ve ever read and has inspired me in EVERY WAY possible!
Towards Gilmore Girls, I love the mother-daughter relationship on the show. It reminds me of my Mom and how she had me at a young age.

im really excited their making another sisterhoodofthetravlingpants movie. the first was great. i haven’t had a chance to read the books, which is wierd cuz i love to read. i’ll have to get um b4 it comes out. but i luv gilmore girls and if this movie interferes with alexis’s decision to stay or go on gilmore girls i’ll be wayyy upset. she should stay with something that shes been with for so long and finish it out right. which would come if they had a shortend eight season.
