Getting back into the swing of things!
Tonight’s episode, "It’s Just Like Riding a Bike", was amazing! Really back to how the Gilmore Girls is meant to be. And so much of that is due to the Luke & Lorelai moments.
As soon as they got into that fight, things started to get so much better. The dialogue just flowed. It’s like they found themselves, as well as each other, when they started really ‘talking’ again. The fight was a catalyst for their bickering - which was never fighting, just their witty banter.
The title was right, "It’s Just like Riding a Bike" - except it applies equally as well to Luke & Lorelai getting back their groove.
And who else gets back on the bike after some bumpy spots? Jackson & Sookie as well as Paris & Doyle. Great title!
If you haven’t read the recap, catch up here.

All I can say is that it was AMAZING!!!!! Scott Patterson and Lauren Graham made the show!!! They did an AWESOME job!!! I want to find clips of that episode SO bad!! As soon as I watched the banter scene I wanted to see it a million more times!! I was sooo happy that he came back to her house and did that for her!!! I was jumping around like crazy!!! Totally pumped!!! And I can’t wait to see the next episode!!!! Also, it was a great job done by everyone else!!!!

Wonderful episode wrapped around L & L and also Sookie/Jackson and the talented Liza Weil and her love. It was so heartbreaking to see Rory read her rejection for the fellowship but, GG fans, this is why we keep coming back and wanting more, more, more.
Very well done….made me smile.

I LOVED the episode!!!! I had this big stupid grin on my face the entire time! It was funny and sweet and you KNOW that Luke is still TOTALLY in love with her!! He spent so much time doing this for her…and wants to take care of her and have her be safe. And lorelai just had this big grin on her face the entire time. I LOVED IT!!!!!
Anyway, it was awesome, period, end of story! All the characters were great in this episode and the writing was done really well. SO…yeah. If you didn’t get to see it, I feel REALLY bad for you, because it was great!

I loved this episode!
I was smiling ear to ear when i saw Doyle look at Paris and say how much he loves her and that wherever she goes he goes..i have never seen a passionate side to Doyle and i can see Paris enjoyed it as well
I also was kinda upset on how Jackson broke Lorelai’s dollhouse…i know he felt bad but that was the only good thing to come out of her relationship with her parents..plus i have never seen Sookie and Jackson be mad at each other in this kinda way before..i thought of it as a “Rory And Logan” kinda fight..Remember when Logan cheated on rory (suposedly) and and she acted like she forgived him..which she didnt..i saw it kinda like Sookie and Jackson..(Btw Sookie Is SOO PREGGERS!! Lol:) )
I liked the way Luke and Lorelai ended up “Bikering” as lorelai puts it..I saw that as a good sign also and I CANT WAIT FOR LUKE TO KISS LORELAI!! SHE SO DESERVES IT AFTER ALL SHE WENT THROUGH!!
Im So Excited :)

I loved it how Luke went through all that Hell to get her a engine so she can keep her old car..he could tell she really wanted to keep her old car..and he tryed his absolute best to get it for her!! he is sooooooooo sweet to her :)

i have to say this episode was rather good. im more of a lor/chris fan but in this episode L/L looked cute together. Lauren is an amazing actress, i just wish they would make Lorelai less of the aggressor towards luke and make him do some work to get her.

Am still watching, but the show is getting on my nerves. If L & L are supposed to like each other, why does Luke always look aggravated? It’s annoying… And then with Lorelai totally taking for granted all the work he did in getting her the same stupid car… I understood why he might be aggravated, but not why the show still holds out the idea that they could be good together.
I love the Gilmore Girls, but really this year the scripts have sucked. Cast looks grumpy. Plot inconsistent with what came before.

I’ve tried. I really have. I know all you fans loved this episode. I know everyone says that the witty banter is back. But I’m a fan, too. And it isn’t. For example, this episode had only 5 pop-culture references in the dialogue, and Lorelai spoke only two of them. This is an all-time low.
But even if this weren’t true, what really got me was how shallow Lorelai’s character was. So things were awkward between her and Luke. But what did she feel that made them awkward? And why did she feel those things? What I’ve always loved about Gilmore Girls is that there’s always many layers of depth to the entire story. It’s not just about witty banter; it’s about witty banter that shows us something about the characters.
This was a hard realization for me to face this week, because I love GG more than any other show ever on TV. But without that depth, I found this episode unbelievably boring. I had to go so far as to begin rewriting the episode myself, to figure out what was missing.
And since when does Lorelai watch 24, anyhow? The one Gilmore-ism worth mentioning, and it doesn’t even fit Lorelai’s personality? It’s my turn to feel betrayed now.

Alek i agree wit u 100% hince the reason i never though L/L belonged together. luke doesnt act like he likes lor. maybe he jus cant act or something, who knows. n e how, the show is cancelled *alexis to be blamed*…she needs to get some hugging lessons damnit…do u guys see how uncomfortable she is when hugging anyone is involved?? poor thing.
i hope Lauren gets another show!!! shes the only reasons i watch GG!
