I think it’s really out of character for Richard and Emily to be singing.

yes i’m so sick of seeing him. The show is over and all we have left is 2 more epi’s and we have to put up with this. don’t get me wrong I don’t mind chris, its chris & lorelai that I hate. we’ve been robbed. The next two weeks we will be sitting on the edge of our seat waiting for some passionate kiss. I know its a start but we deserved to see luke and lorelai happy together, now we have know way of knowing what will ever be. this stinks and i’m mad!! I just don’t see how in 2 episodes that they(cw) can give us the ending we deserve. So much time will be monopolized by rory’s grad and proposal that I’m afraid that all us l&l fans we’ll be left with just a kiss.

I do agree that it is out of charachter for Richard and Emily to be singing. I can just imagine Emily putting down Lorelai for singing karakoke last week. But I did think it was cute and funny. I liked it.

I think the singing is cute, and I wish the finale were two hours. I think that’s the least they could for us poor fans in mourning!

That is just silly. I know that sometimes they are a little weird and out there when it comes to Rory… like in the episode where they dance before dinner at the DAR dance that Rory planned out… cause no one else was dancing…. but singing… that is just weird. They are ruining the final GG moments I tell you.

looks like anything goes with emily and richard lol wow that was a cheesy coment. (anything goes is the title of the musical that the song was from that emily and richard made their own rendition of)

I always loved Richards’ and Emilys’ roles. Due to the lyrics, it just made them look stupid. :(
I can almost see in Kelly B’s face that she knows the show is ending. This and last weeks show. Looks like she’s been crying.
Am I the only one who sees Richard and Emily are not their real personas? It’s quite forced.
Good for you Rosenthal. You not only killed GG, but the cast as well.

i dotn think the writers are staying on track with the characters………. i mean Lorelai would never say(and this was on the last episode) that “Rory is use to getting everything she wants” to Luke…… Luke is way way different acting i mean if u watch the episodes last year or the 4 year the characters are different…….. and here is a great example they arent talking as fast ……… here is another the grandparents dotn sing they…….. and why is this show turning in to a singing show i think that is really corny…. but Lorelai singing that was good but the Grandparents thats just taking it way to far!!!!!!!!!!!1 sorry i have been holding this in for a very long time!!!!!! but i am just now beginning to notice all these things

Ann i totally agree but this is what am goin to do (it may help u it may not………. o well)
i am goin to forget (and yes it is goin to be hard but just try it okay) all about the cancellation just keep watching it because u want to know if it is cancelled….. but on the night of the show finale just then u can just cry or whatever u are goin to do because u know if u do cry u wont be the only one all the Gilmore Girls fans will be possibly doin the same exact thing ………. plus i will be crying alot for that week and that month but i plan to get the rest of the seasons on dvd!

Lauren on Ellen next week!!!-
“One of Ellen’s favorites, LAUREN GRAHAM shares with Ellen how she feels about her hit show “Gilmore Girls,” coming to an end, and where she got the news. And, the last time Lauren visited, Ellen tried to set her up with Matthew Perry and Kenny Chesney. What match-making magic will Ellen attempt this time? Plus, Lauren shares stories from her new film “Evan Almighty” opposite the hysterical Steve Carell, then picks up a guitar and sings for Ellen and the audience.”
Lauren’s singing a lot lately! I didn’t know she could play the guitar. Unless it’s like the last time she sung on Ellen, where she played the piano while she sung and before that she only played the piano for 2 weeks!

lol yea em i think it will be like that (and i hope it will because the piano thing was hilarious)

I wish that Rory would say yes to Logan’s marriage proposal…
That would be just perfect.
But with the current writers stuffing things up, looks like this will not happen… I fear that the series will end with no resolutions, and Rory and Lorelai being single back in Star’s Hollow. Tragic when the series has moved so far…

Loved the song by Richard & Emily and thought it was so very Gilmore of them to do it and not at all, out of character (did you also see the look on Lorelei’s face while they were singing?).
I think Christopher being there was wonderful and appropriate. Why be a Christopher hater???. He is Lorelei’s first and Rory’s father and despite the ups and downs of the relationship, he is a likeable character. If I were Lorelei, I would have had a hard time choosing between the two (although clearly she has stated to the psychologist friend of her parents in the car scene, that the only time she felt truly “in love” was with LUKE). So, there you have it. We all know she LOVES LUKE.
I hope you walk a way with a wonderful feeling of having enjoyed all the characters, for better or worse, in our little make-believe town of Stars Hollow. I know I will.

Oh, I know what that is. It’s from a website that they make T-shirts and stuff relating to Gilmore girls and other thins. There was actually an advertisement for it on this site a while ago. It isn’t an official poster, but it is still really sweet.
