Yeah wow, I never write on these blog type dealies, but I’ve gotta say something NOW!..

I can’t believe what I heard last night, series finale, the only place on TV that can truely take you into a wonderful place like Star’s Hollow and meeting up once a week with the gilmore girls and the whole of Stars Hollow was such a fantasic get-a-way.
It just started to get good, I mean great again, and to say the least, it just doesn’t make any sense, the way Rory loves academics and is a exellent student it would only seem to follow the logical course of getting her Master’s Degree, which most do who are exreme achievers.
I whole heartly LOVE the Gilmore Girls. I hope they continue on at least another 2 years!!
Please, Please, Please!!!! I would not be able to say it enough. Please!!!!!

Love all the cast and the show forever!!!!!

Is anyone else annoyed that the promo shows the L/L kiss?? Even though I knew it was coming because I’m a spoiler-a-holic, it kind of ruins it for me that they just put it out there for everyone to see! I don’t know, I can’t really explain it, but seeing it upset me. And what do you want to bet that it’s the last scene?

yea i agree.but i am soo mad that they are canceling the show,i jsut thought they would do at least one more season.but nnoooo.i wish the 1st dircetors stayed because there could have been a longer gilmoregirls if they still wrote the show.i’m mad.but i don’t hate them.even though this is there last season.SERIES FINALE.i am very sad.to see it start from the beginning in 2000,and how young alexis bledel was and lauren too,i just can’t believe how grown up they are and that the show is ending,i didn’t think they were going to cancel it but they did.but even though there will not be new seasons or new eposoids,i will still watch the repheats everysingle day,nad i will never get tired of it.gilmoregirls is my most tv,show and the best.but i knnow in the interview with lauren graham she said he and alexis were both tired and that they were ready to explore new oppertunitys and new t.v shows even though they are not making new gilmoregirls i will still like there acting and that i hope they achieve well in life and that if they have television shows with them in it it has to be good, and i will be cheering them on every step of the way.I will miss gilmoregirls soo much.it is soo sad i am still mad.but i am very sad that the last eposoid is coming, and i am nervous what is going to happen. No offense but i thought that they were going to end the show with rory engaged and she moving away and that was the end.but i’m kind of glad she said no to logan, because remember in the beginning hte 1st eposoid she has noo boy friends or anything and lorelais not getting married i think they were trying to end it as it was in the beginning of the 1st series.like a mother and a daughter alone.but happy.can’t wait until series finale!

I am very sad too that the gilmore girls is going. I can’t believe that they ended Rory and Logan that way. I know it is all about the girls and that is the way they want to end it but the girls (women) have evolved over the past seven years and so their characters should show it and rory and logan should have ended up together with a long engagement if that was the case and luke and lorelai. It is too sudden and there is lots left to be done. I am going to miss the girls on tuesday night and just looking so forward to it every week. I have never got this caught up in a show before but the gilmore girls had me right from the start. I will follow both of their careers too and see how things go for them.

I read earlier that the girls were offered by the network to do 13 episodes in a Season 8 and they said they just couldn’t do it but that they would do 8 episodes and the network turned them down. That was the deal breaker. Why didn’t the network settle for 8 episodes. It would have been better then none. Or a 2 hour series finale would have been better than a regular one hour episode with all of the thousands of commercials in between. Anyway, just sad to see them go.

i am a definet L&L fanatic, but even i DONOT want the last scene of this sieresto be them. from what it says about the show it doesn’t seem that way. i also want the last scene to beat the airport and be like the prodigal daughter returns scene ” I love you mom. Oh kid you have no idea.”

I like that idea of the scene from the prodigal daughter returns to use that. I loved that moment. That would be great if they used that.

    Great idea.

I am in sobbing, wondering, and happiness…….. and it sucks. i go threw the day saying to myself its not over but in the inside it is…its truly going to be over in just a blink of an eye… in one scene this hole series…this hole 7 years has just gone away. Yes the reruns will be playing but…it won’t be the same…there won’t be the state of wonder as these episodes leave in…like at the end of season 3 when Lorelai comes in the diner and says to Luke don’t get engaged in his dream… that leaves you in wonder… it won’t do that because you already know what is goin to happen next… and yes its gonna be hard and this isn’t helping me study for finals… but i have had this on my chest for a very long time…I remebered in the four season when the Yale vs. Harvard game Rory’s grandfather said that she grduates in 2007 and that made me think and i thought maybe the would end when she did……… but i didnt think about it that much because it was three years to keep watching and I was goin to serinade in it…. because i just forgot about it untill now….. that promo made me cry I was soo sad when it said “after 7 years its time to say good-bye”

I will always love the Gilmore Girls Cast

I can not believe, that it is the ending. It is very sad. I constrain tears. With impatience and trembling I wait for last series. My grief is crossed with with happiness for Lorelai and the Luke!

Ugh, I can’t believe after all the jerkiness, they expect us to believe Lorelai ends up with cranky Luke. It doesn’t make sense in terms of plot or either character’s development.

What I’ll miss about the Gilmore Girls (though less this season sans the Palladinos) was the snappy dialogue, repartee and obscure references. It was like a 40s screwball comedy every week. Dialogue-wise, nothing near as clever on TV. Will miss that.

The plot did suck though, e.g.:
-What about that 30 grand Luke lent Lorelai. Usually money is an issue between people, especially couples — never mentioned again. Did she pay it back?
-Lorelai supposedly independent, but always taking money from parents, Luke, Christopher, etc.
-Lorelai just as pushy and controlling as Emily, as a mother. Cooler, but still pushy & controlling.
-Rory’s series of OTT relationships seemingly an overreaction to her mother’s inability to make one work.
-Men who love women as much as we keep being told Luke loves Lorelai don’t act like he does: cranky, annoyed, gruff & distracted. If this is the “great love” she was waiting for, pass the vodka.

Lorelai & Christopher made much more sense, but I guess David Rosenthal had to weenie-ishly appease dopey L&L fans.

I’ll enjoy the GG reruns for years to come.

OMG!! I can’t believe gilmore girls is coming 2 an end. In the interview with ellen you can tell Lauren is sad the show is ending. But I see were shes coming from when she said,” seven years is a long time.” Cuz you don’t want it 2 be like 7th heaven and just keep going and going like the energy bunny. But anywho the point is,is that gilmore girls is an awesome show. And it’s gonna be hard to watch it go. My tuesdays will never be the same,(forcing my mom 2 watch it with me, having an reason not 2 do my homework,etc.).I will continue 2 watch the reruns and the girls future shows and movies.I wish the best 4 Lauren and Alexis. And like most hardcore fans I’m gonna cry alot when watching the last episode ever. Gilmore Girls we’ll always be loved and watched for years 2 come.Writing this I feel like I just went 2 confession or something.LOL!

Although the series is coming to an end,( it makes me cry just thinking about it) now we( the fans) can know the GG life from begginning to end. the last scene will be of rory, luke, and lorelia saying there goodbyes. it will be the sadest moment ever! since, i have seen every single episode more than once and GG is literaly the ONLY thing i EVER watch it will besooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad to see this funny, charming, romantic, friendly show come to a end. even though this is the lasst episode the rory, lorelia, and luke life will still continue in all us!

I really hope they change their minds and come back for another season, or two or three. Rory can go out their and spead her wings and the rest of Stars Hollow can keep it moving…

We really feel loss and are saddened by the loss of the sole remaining show of the channel. it will remain to be seen if the channel goes under now - hopefully they ll renegoiate contracts, etc at the 13th hour.

The poster who refered the show to a 40’s show is right - this show is unique and as a single mother also close in age to my daughter- it shows the mom / best friend relationship with humor.

Well hopefully we ll have a miracle.

I feel that this is all really rushed! Logan and Rory, being perposed to, saying no, breaking up. Luke and Lorelai kissing? They have just began to repair their relationship, it takes time, you don’t just get over something like this and kiss, for crying out loud they were engaged! I feel that they rushed all this because the actresses wouldn’t come back, so the show was ending and they felt they had to end it how everyone is expecting, but its just so rushed, I almost wished it would end with Rory and Logan dating and Luke and Lorelai friends. It wouldn’t be so rushed that way. Though it would leave everyone feeling empty, but so is the fact it is rushed. I guess I don’t know how I feel about the show coming to an end. I don’t know exactly how I would have ended it though, it’s tough! We will all miss our beloved Gilmore Girls!!!

I was just talking to my best friend and she said to me that wouldn’t it be great if another network saw the great potential in this to finish it off properly and gave the girls there 8 episodes to wrap it up. I would take it. It is better then all of these loose ends.

I feel as though the CW is not a good network. There are so many shows coming to an end that are on the CW, they won’t have anything left to show except for reruns of shows that have been gone for awhile or reality shows that seemed to get more stupid by the minute. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good reality show (Survivor, America’s Next Top Model, Big Brothers, Canada’s Next Top Model, etc.) you get the point. But the CW I have no idea what they are thinking. Because this is all just crazy and I hope that they suffer ratings wise for it. I know it sounds immature but the way they are going, that is exactly what is going to happen.

and to all cast and fans, God Bless you with all good things from Heaven and Earth.

After seeing the last GG last night, I think it was done well considering the time they had to work with. The part where Lorieli is watching Rory sleeping and contemplating over her daughter’s life, what a wonderful gift she was to have in her life and now Rory starting her own separate life apart from her, well let’s just say I’ve been there recently with my daughter and yeah, that is exactly what mom’s do.

The last group shot of everyone in Star’s Hallow, together was nice too.

GG has touched my heart deeply and nothing on TV has ever affected me this way……. I am still crying, it feels like I lost something very special.

The mother of two girls, I realized just this very evening what a support to me in my journey as a single mother, Gilmore Girls has been to me.

It has been more than just a TV show, it has truly been a wonderful gift to me and inspired my life and my daughter’s lives in such a profound way.

Thank you so much, to all of you, and Amy, thank you, you created a beautiful gift for me, and I know, for so many.

I am going to miss it soooooo much!!

    Thank you now and always,

    All my love,
