  thats a really adorable interview! i enjoyed it a lot, even laughed out loud a few times! alexis always seemed a lil nervous in interviews in the past. shes really grown and you can tell shes much more comfortable now.

  I think she does look a bit nervous… like with her lips, or her hands, always moving around her face and stuff… but she is really sweet… !!!

  normally in her interview i would get bored, because she was boring!!! she finally came out of her shell and actually added some humor! Just like Patricia i actually laughed out loud, unlike her other interviews. i liked this interview of Alexis!

  I agree with Reinier she’s not nervous any more but she’s become like everybody else. Before you could tell she was being natural and sincere now she’s like all artificial.

  I just didn’t like the interview overall. She had a cute story, but it was like she didn’t want to be there or that it was a waste of time. She kept moving and it was distracting. Someone should tell her to sit still for a while. The clip of Reed Fish was stupid as could be. I’ve seen other clips and trailers and that was the worst one. I know she has no choice in that, but it just didn’t do well for her. I wanted her to do well, but it was just a flop. I hate the she dismissed the Gilmore Girls conversation. It is just sad that this show is what made her, she had nothing but modeling before this, and she just dismisses it. I know she has to go on with her life, but at least say she had a great time for 7 years, you know? Oh well, at least we still have Lauren, and she’s fantastic in interviews!!

  I am LMAO……..that clip looked like it was written, directed, and produced by Kirk!! It was so like his film that I expected “Daddy” to be on the other side of the door!!!!

  From the looks of it she still seemed nervous. That would explain the constant movement. I think she is adorable and extremely unique. I laughed a lot during this interview….

  I do agree that the I’m Reed Fish trailer they showed was a horrible choice. Why did they not show her in a better part?

  The Reed Fish clip wasn’t very good, but I think it’s going to be a good movie and am excited for the release.

  This was the first interview with Alexis where I wasn’t bored out of my skull. She was wonderful and seems to have come out of her shell.

  SHE SAYS THAT SHE NEVER WAS LOOKING FOR DOING A TV SHOW ,IN THAT CASE WHY DID SHE AUDITION FOR A TV SHOW INSTEAD OF JUST A TV COMMERCIAL IF SHE WAS JUST TRYING TO MAKE A LITTLE MONEY FOR SCHOOL INSTEAD OF COMPLANING AS IF HER JOB WAS REALLY HARD,THATS

  Does anyone else think that she looks different now? I can’t quite put my finger on what it is exactly. Ugh, this is gonna bug me forever.

  As you all stated before I also think she got more comfortable with interviews than she ever was before. I agree that she was always kind of boring and non-decriptive and just blah when she did interviews or whatever.
  But it does seem affected. Her whole behavior.

  And what certainly bugs me the most is that she shrugs off Gilmore Girls like it’s nothing. I can’t believe why she does that or what really gives her the right to do so…She dismisses it like it’s not what brought her fame and what gave her the chance to sit there with Letterman talking.
  I mean, I like Alexis Bledel, she’s sweet and I love her as Rory, but she’s acting like she’s a super awesome actress, which she isn’t IMO. She’s good on GG because it fits how she acts and Rory is her, but she’s nowhere near Lauren Graham for example. Alexis Bledel won’t get jobs because of her acting, she will get them because of her face and that’s okay as long as she doesn’t act superior to the others. I’m going to use Lauren Graham again as an example. She IS that good an actress but she at least acknowledges Gilmore Girls as what it is…the show that got her her status, and she doesn’t dismiss the show just like that. I mean compare their reactions to the possibility of a movie and you get totally different vibes. It’s like Alexis Bledel doesn’t care for this show at all, and that’s just crazy. I get that she may be exhausted and she may have had enough of Gilmore Girls but she shouldn’t be ignorant and ‘talking down’ (I know she doesn’t do that per se but she’s acting that way) to it.

  I don’t really like Alexis Bledel.
  I agree with all of you guys that say she totally shook of Gilmore Girls like it was nothing.
  She should be very grateful that she got the job in the first place with only modeling as experience. And doesn’t her look remind you of Hilary Duff?

  Oh and by the way. Lauren graham is much more entertaining to watch in enterviews than Alexis Bledel. Alexis was just figiting in her seat. That was anoying.

  Do y9u think that AB is trying to shed her GG “Rory” image so that she will be able to get other movie or tv roles? Actors do not want to be stuck in a rut, so to speak, or they will never do anything different - which isn’t bad if you consider yourself a “character actor” - I think that this is not something she aspires too.

  Give the girl a break and see what she does in the next few years. Lauren Graham already had a lot of years acting behind her when she landed GG so, yes, she would be more polished in interviews.

  What a horrible lot of people you are. What gives you the right to criticise the girl like this. All this ranting and hate for someone because they didn’t talk for a great deal about GG. She wasn’t there to talk about GG and Lauren Graham has said she is relieved to have GG over with so why the praise for her and hatred for Alexis?

  This was Alexis’ first job and she has been there all her adult life. So she is relieved the hard schedule is over and she now has time for a life. She deserves to have a life and doesn’t owe anyone anything. Obviously this forum isn’t for fans of Alexis because they wouldn’t be so unkind about her acting either.

  Shame on you.

  The interview was definately one of her better ones. I know that GG did “make” her, but she wasn’t there to talk about it, so I think that she said enough about it. It’s over, and she didn’t really need to expand on that. She was there to promote I’m Reed Fish, and I thought it was great about her driving. LOL.

  Give the girl a break.

  I still think she is great =) & you should too.

  And that really isn’t fair to compare her to other actresses.

  okay okay. yea i know she isint the rory we all know. but i liked the interview. It was crappy to just brush off gilmore girls conversation, but she does have a point. she is a young actress and she should try some bigger things to show off her talent.
  I do think she is funny.

  Yeah you are right… We should give her a break, she is funny!!I’m happy because she spoke about Gilmore Girls. I liked the part that she says that she is playing soccer. I played soccer and is so cool, I hope that she learns new skills. She probably is like that girls who kick everybody…LOL. The movie sounds cool I probably will watch it.
