  I think they should definetly put alot of extras on the season 7 dvd! Like bloopers and interviews and games and quizzes. That would really be great!!!!

  I bet if they did put extras on the DVD like an interview or something Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel won’t do it becuz they don’t get any of the money from the DVD sales. Since she is so busy why waste ur time when ur not gonna make any money? Lauren and Alexis did it in the first season but they didn’t do any extras in the later DvD seasons. The only people were like Melissa MCcarthy and Jackson Douglas.

  well, while we’re waiting…I did my own S7 DVD cover for my .avi burns, and I’m kinda proud of it. you’ll notice a few things in the “shadowbox” area on the front that range from obvious (a hay bale, a rocket) to irreverent (a picture of Fonzie jumping the shark) to the last one that’s kind of hard to make out–the shot of Lorelai, Rory, and Luke through Luke’s window that ended it all. sigh…

  That season 7 cover is wonderful, good work! I really like Fonzie jumping the shark… it should have been April jumping the shark.

  and Lindsay–the April/shark idea’s a good one…except that I would have had to put a picture of her on the cover, and I didn’t want to look at her. (to be fair, that the April plots were boring and subpar wasn’t the actress’s fault, it was all our pal Rosenthal’s doing. I didn’t mind April at all in S6, although she was never a favorite.)

  There should definitely be a season 8. Logan should decide to move to Iowa with Rory and then come back to Stars Hollow to get married. The series should end with a double wedding for Rory and Logan and Luke and Lorelai. In the last scene their theme song should be playing softly in the backround with them all standing under the gazebo with Logan then Rory then Lorelai and the Luke all standing together with their arms around each other smiling.

  I’ve been playing mock-commercial artist ever since I figured out Photoshop. I’d go after a career doing it if I didn’t know for a fact that it’s underpaid and overscrutinized…I think it’s where the “too many cooks” cliche was invented.

  I like the cover too. I wish I had photoshop. And I wish that the show wouldn’t have ended. It was so good. But I heard it was pretty strenuous on the actors. But it sucks that it ended. I loved it so much.

  Hey Anna, I understand that the job is underpaid, but come on if you like it and obviously you are great at making them. do it as a hobby. You could make some extra money and have a blast doing it. By the way i would work on sending the cover into the CW or whoever is producing the dvd set. You never know whos cover it might be. I bet yours is just as good as any others.

  hi, caely–thanks for the nice words! actually, that’s exactly what I do–approach it as a hobby. (I’ve made bunches of CD covers for my more legally-dubious music CDs, too.)

  I might have gone after it as a career more, too, if I wasn’t relatively happy doing what I’m doing. (I’m an animation editor in Hollywood, praying that somebody does Gilmore Girls Season 8 Animated.)

  In http://www.lauren-online.net it says that the seventh season will be released on November 13 ! That is the date it says but it may be wrong. I don’t know but for now I think thats the date. Which btw is a loong timee. ;( But on that date they will also release the entire series box set which contains seasons 1-6 which i don’t need because I have 1-6 already. But I cant wait til I get the seventh season !!! (:

  fridge - unfortunately i dont think novemeber 13th will be the release date in australia. coz its usually released at least a month later than the US. but hopefully it will be quicker :)

  we all need season 8 and more if possible to go on with our lives season 7 was great but left us all gasping for more. “one more gilmore” to see all the happy endings

  I love the gilmore girls.My grandma doesn’t cry at movies unless they are really sad.My grandma cried when Lor and Rory had to say good bye,she says they make it seem more real.THen she started to cry because I’m growing up to fast and soon I’m not going to want anything to do with her.She cried for about an hour.I mean I’m only going on 16.My birthday is 2/23/92,but everyone in my family said once you turn 16 your whole life goes really fast,so that’s why I think my grandma is so scared,that and her family treats her like she’s worthless.I’m really sad to see the gilmore girls go.They are they were the only thing that I had to relie on for advice.I loved Logan and Rory together.My grandma doesn’t watch the show and she watched the last show and she said that Rory should have said YES because the show was going off.Now we don’t have any idea on what and who is going to be in her life.Well I better get going.I really am sad to see them go.I will miss them.

  I did buy a new dvd player just to watch it LOL!!! because i was using my parents portable dvd player and it broke from over work!!! so i went out real fast and bought a new one because i was half way through an episode!!!!!!
