Supernatural to get 2 leading ladies
Supernatural, Jared Padalecki’s hit show, will come back for it’s next Fall season hitting for an expanded demographic. Two new leading ladies will join Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) for Season 3 of Supernatural. Each will be hunters like Dean & Sam, but there might be more in store as well.

The two new leading ladies are Bela and Ruby - it is unclear if either role has been cast or, if so, who these two new actresses will be.
Bela is a mercenary - a hard drinking, crass, focused, tough girl with a soft inside. Bela will meet with Dean to discuss the crystall skull, which he refuses to sell her. She talks about there being no difference between good and evil - just points of view. She will be the funny one.
Ruby is a femal hunter, more seasoned and tough - "war" is in her vocabulary. There is most definitely some sexual tension going on between Ruby and Sam. Ruby is the more mysterious of the 2 new hunters, but also completely ruthless.
There is a definite "girl per brother" thing going on, and at least one will definitely hook up.

Unfortunately, I have not watched a complete episode of Supernatural and don’t know if I will because I don’t like what the CWTV has to offer.
I will pay more attention to FOX with their two new shows w/ASPalladino writing and Grammer/Heaton Show.

It’s too bad Supernatural is on the CW– it would do better on a channel that targets more than just teenagers and 20-somethings.
I’m not looking forward to these two new chicks on the show. This isn’t a romance, it’s a drama.
