Gilmore Girls may not get Emmy Award
Gilmore Girls was not nominated for an Emmy Award in the Drama Series category. The top 10 finalists for that are:
- Boston Legal
- Dexter
- Friday Night Lights
- Grey’s Anatomy
- Heroes
- House
- Lost
- Rome
- The Sopranos
- 24
The full nominations do not come out until July 19th, so no word yet on whether or not Lauren Graham will be nominated for her work. 2 actresses have thus far been announced for the Drama category, and Lauren’s name does not appear in that list. Keep your fingers crossed!

So sad GG isn’t nominated for an Emmy award!!!!!!!! but then they never have been nominated for an Emmy award i was hoping they would be this year!!!!!!

More than fair to me. I’m sorry guys, but i have to say it!
…This season was ridiculous, it was not GG, our GG!
….The real GG is the one from Amy!
…If GG never won an Emmy before, with the amazing writting, producing and directing of Amy and Dan Palladino, why do you think “GG” would be nominated now, with this awful season, with the crapy writing, producing and directing of David Rosenthal? If GG were nominated or win the Emmy this year i would kill myself!
….It was not fair GG not to win an Emmy when Amy was in it, that was not fair!
And the only thing unfair this year is that Lauren was not nominated! Lauren is an amazing actress, great, the best, and with the crapy season this year she handled it pretty wonderful. One more time she was snobed! THAT is not fair!
….The REAL GG is the Amy’s GG, not the crapy one from DR!

I’m not surprised. David did a horrible job this year with our beloved GG. He killed everything that Amy started. If anyone deserves and Emy its Amy&Dan for seasons 1-6, but definently NOT David for his poor excuse of a season 7.

i really hope lauren graham can get an emmy. yes, the writing was much better in seasons 1-6, but she was still a fantastic actress this season. maybe she’ll pull a renee zelweger–she won for cold mountain b/c they felt badly she didn’t win for chicago. i just hope lg gets the recognition she deserves for 7 wonderful seasons.
