Alexis Bledel in Connecticut
Alexis Bledel and the rest of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 cast and crew are in Connecticut for the remainder of the week to shoot scenes for the movie. Although the news is not spectacular, it does give us some more insight into what will be in Sisterhood 2 - those parts bolded:
Western Connecticut State University will become a movie set this week as scenes for "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" are filmed on campus.
Actress Alexis Bledel, 25, who plays Lena, will be on campus, and is expected to be joined by WestConn art students, who will be extras.
In the sequel to the 2005 film "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," the girls — "Ugly Betty" star America Ferrera, "Joan of Arcadia" star Amber Tamblyn, Bledel, and Blake Lively — are in college and travel to Turkey, Greece, New York, Vermont and Providence.
Bledel’s character is an art student at Rhode Island School of Design. WestConn will provide art class settings for the movie, which is tentatively set for a fall 2008 release.

I just finished the last book and those places that are mentioned are pretty much where the girls go. I just want to know how much they will stick to the book.
I found a little bit of info about the DVD box sets…..but nothing about when they will be released. They just talk about how the prices will be RISING. Ugh. Anyway, here’s the link if you want to read it.

i can’t wait for the movie. i loved all of the books. i hope they follow the main points of the book, but if they are combining all three of the last books, it will have to be a really long movie to sticko to the asic ideas. it should be interesting to see what happens.

i loved the first book and the first movie makes me cry every time i see it because its so good, the second book wasnt my favorite at all but maybe the movie will be just as good as the first one :D i cant wait till it comes out!

Cool,I’m so excited and can’t wait see new movie,when come out from theater.I have a The Sisterhood of the traveling 1,2 and 3 book.I just already read on the frist book

Ugh I was in Connecitcut when they were filming. I was also at Yale I just don’t know when they were filming there. I would die to meet Alexis.

I live right next to the town where WCSU i was so excited. i really wanted to go to see if i could see alexis but i didnt go.

They filmed at Yale the day Indiana Jones 4 started filming….and I was there…but no one had heard about SOTP2 filming because we were all wrapped up in Harrison Ford lol But they did film there the end of June….I don’t think they’ve filmed there since.
My cousin goes to WCSU and she called me up freaking out about them being on campus shes like I seen them I seen them you gotta come!…she didn’t know I already seen them in Bridgeport though lol

they where filming near where i live and the trailers for the actors where staying in my school parking lot over the summer it was sooo kool
