I have to agree with Arieanna here - the look of the box set is disappointing to the max! And a doll house?? I think it would have been better to incorporate a more “Gilmore-d” idea - like a “Luke’s Diner” house or better yet - a giant coffee cup! Either way though - I looove these girls and cannot wait for November 13th!! I hate seeing all these series premiers coming up and the absence of Gilmore Girls to the list….

I love how the picture of rory on the front is of when she was like 18ish. That was when the show, and her, were at its bests. if you ask me.
I really really want a GG movie!!!!

I would love to have the 8th season and more. It looks all amazing and I´ll buy it. I think most because I´ll miss my girls so much and I think I´ll watch every day at least 7 episodes to get over the loss. I dont know if I should be mad at Amy or happy that she offers at least a movie. I think I´m more mad at her because she´s the one who left and thats why the show got cancelled. I think no one can do it better than her and she knew that the show would´t work without her. All because she wanted a two years contract? Why didn´t she accept a one year contract? The 8th season I would watch but a movie? I think not.

I dont really like the cover of the series dvd. I have all seasons and I am getting the 7th season on dvd. I would like the whole series, but I can’t afford the dvd. Maybe next year. My parents won’t buy it for me, cause I already have seasons 1-6.

The whole box is a disgrace to the show. It makes it look like just another “girly” bublegum teen show. They really should have stuck with the fall leaves small new england town theme.

I already have all of the seasons that are out but I really want the box set just to have it you know? I think with the price break I will buy it for myself for my birthday. As much as the doll theme set didn’t live up to the hype I still think it’s pretty cool. I will really miss my Gilmore Girls though! So sad that the show ended the way it did : (

Does that mean we won´t get the 8th season?
I mean it´s standing on the “complete series”.

I have 6 series on vhs, but the quality is poor;// but I would prefer to have all of them separately and why the cover of the box look like that???

    P.S. I love this website:))

I will be really upset if these are released in full screen like the rest of the dvd releases. Since the show’s conception, it has been aired in widescreen. GIVE US WIDESCREEN!

I have all the season so I have no need for the complete box set except all that extra stuff. Even then most of that stuff looks like it’s for a kid or something. I am exicted for the 7th season though so I can only watch the episodes I like and skip over the ones I don’t like. I hope there’s extra stuff in the 7th season set.

I have to say that even though i have recorded every episode for the last 7 years I would love the complete set. even though i also have a few of the seasons on DVD.. I think the show ended the best way a show can. and i thought it was perfect. (not sad)

    OH - MY - GOD!!!!
What’s that design?? It’s not good looking at all.. I wanted to buy the complete serie but I really don’t like the design so maybe I’ll wait for WarnerBros to bring out a “10th anniversary box”.. ahah Hoping, this one (if it happens) will have a better design.. something like the individual season box.. with great colors and fall’s look.. whatever.. I love GG even if the design of this complete serie box SUCKS!

I love Gilmore Girls!!! I already have seasons 1 through 6. I hope there’s bonus features in the Season 7 DVDs. The Complete Series looks really flowery (why not leaves). I basically watched the CW for Gilmore Girls.

i just love the Gilmore girls. i come home everyday and site on my couch for 1 hour and just listen to what stroy they have next. i so what the complete box set but it is a little to much for mum so i think i will get a job and pay for it myself .
lorali and luke um…………….. who knows

I come home every day after my job and unwind from the crap by watching the latest GG episode. My husband and child just think I am nuts. “How can you watch that show”? “Who acts like that”? Lorelai and Rory ….

I also think the creative dept. could’ve done a better job with the design of the complete DVD set. Should’ve been leaves on the cover. Should’ve had a few Sam Phillips “La-Las” play when you opened the box (like those crazy Hallmark cards) … should’ve had a better ending to the whole show. would’ve, should’ve, could’ve - and that is life :)

I received my complete series, and I am a little disappointed in the box, it is like a Barbie Box. While I grew up with Barbie’s, it is not something I associate with the Gilmore Girls. The photo’s in the episode guide are nice, but the actual quide has only two or three sentences for each episode, which could never explain an entire GG show. But, I do like having all the episodes in one box. Should of been a Stars Hollow Box.
Now, I can watch any episode I want, anytime…Yipppeee!!!
