    I totally agree with Melanie.
    I really don’t like Lauren in dresses. She’s more jeans and shirt kind of type, just like Lorelai was in season 1 to 5, you know.
    But she is gorgeous and i just simply loooove her!
    She’s the best!
    ….I miss my Lorelai so much…

    the dress is for a 60 years old grandma. Or is it because she was always dressed on GG younger? I think the dress makes her look old.But the face is beautiful and I like it that she’s holding a coffee. They should let her wear clothes like she wears on GG. As Lorelai she always looked so beautiful

    its her charaters costume, she has to wear it. im sure it wasn’t something she bough, or even wanted to wear for that matter, shes gotta get into character.

    Don’t like her hair or her dress, either doesn’t do a thing for her and she is an attractive woman…maybe this was done on purpose for the movie. Hope so.

    Lauren is one of the most beautiful women of the world, in my opinion.

    But the dress is so ugly! she looks like a low paid waitress!

    I liked her dress in GG when Lorelai and Luke went to Liz’s wedding.

    @ inga: the scowl on Lauren’s face is likely because she’s aware that she’s being photographed by unwelcome paparazzi.

    @ everyone regarding the dress: Since Flashes of Genius is about the inventor of the intermittent windshield wiper, which was created a zillion years ago, the movie is likely a period piece from the 80’s. Hence, the quite accurate awfulness of the dress. Needs shoulderpads to make the period disastrousness complete, but maybe she takes them out between takes. ;)

    I think the dress is pretty, it’s vintage, kinda classic. I think she looks beautiful in it!
