Scott Patterson on Gilmore Girls Movie

I updated the Scott Patterson Starry Mag Interview Post with a few excerpts from the transcript. In particular, I thought I’d stick this out in it’s own post:

Will there be a "Gilmore Girls" movie?

It would depend on the script. It would depend on Amy Sherman-Palladino’s involvement. I’ve been quoted as saying, "Not only would I hide a body for, but I’d chop one up."

I love that quote.

Scott also talks about how bitterly Gilmore Girls ended and says

"It was a real waste having to end a show that way."

Way to say it Scott!

Things didn’t ebd that great but I certainly would not call it a waste of time. If anything it was ASP fault the show went the direction it did.

omg i FREKIN LOVE HIM!!! and it is a waste of time because of the way that gilmore girls ended was 100% unacceptable. i mean he worked his ass off for 7 years doing the show and it ended horrible so i think that it was a waste of time

I definitely love Scott. =) He agrees with the fans! Way to go Scott! I really hope we get a movie. We deserve one.

scott patterson is completely amazinggg.
i hate the way the show ended but i would never in a million years say it wasnt worth it-the whole show doesnt suck because of the end.

and a gilmore girls movie would make my lifeeee. :)

But…he plays in another show now and lauren has got a lot of movies coming up so..i dunno if it’s gonna be possible.
Let’s hope, though, cuz it’d be really unexpected and great for the fans!!!

He plays in “Aliens In America” and it’s about a Marocan boy (i think) who comes to the US with an exchange program and he’ll have to learn all the american traditions and all, and Scott is the father in the host family. I’ve never seen the show but it looks really funny
