Scott Patterson Saw IV interview
How many of you have seen Saw IV? Scary, hey?
Well, Scott Patterson gave an interview to bloody-disgusting just before the movie came out. And, apparently, we may be seeing more of Scott in future Saw films!
"My manager called me and said the producers had contacted her and wanted to meet with me and then the director, Darren Bousman met with me, I had lunch with him in LA and we got to know each other," he continues, "there was no script at the time, he was trying to see if I was right for the role and we had a really nice getting-to-know-you session. It lasted a couple hours and we hit it off, and we’re both quirky in different ways and it felt like it would all work and I liked his passion and vision for the film and then they made a three-picture offer and I was blown away."
Scott says that Saw IV was the most fun he’s ever had on set. He was also extremely disappointed not to be involved with "Repo! The Genetic Opera", a much anticipated film of the year, for scheduling conflicts. Scott mentions, with reference to the Saw IV director:
"I knew what he wanted, he knew what I was about to ask, it was a very… creatively, we’re both pretty twisted individuals and we like to take risks and explore the outer edges of where a character could go."
Scott as twisted! Hard to believe, hey?
