“According to an insider, Milo, 30, gave Hayden an 18-karat yellow-gold ring - worth $1,950 - from the famed jewelers as a belated birthday present, since she turned 18 in late August. The ring, called Somerset Heart, features a woven band and a heart, and according to the insider, is inscribed, “Sweet like Hayden.”
The ring is said to be a belated birthday gift. But, amidst all the rumors, one must be a bit suspect of Milo’s sweet gift choice. A ring. With a heart shape. And an inscription.

This is off topic and all, but i just realized, Liz graduated in 1984 (this is told in the episode when she comes back to stars hollow for her high school reunion in season 4) yet Rory was born in 1984, and Jess was older than Rory, so wouldn’t that mean that Liz, like Lorelei, would have been in the middle of high school when she got pregnant? But when Jess talks to his father in California, they talk about how Jess was born in New York, don’t they? Has anyone else ever noticed this?
I think Jess is the same age as Rory. At the end of season 3 they were both supposed to graduate, but Jess didn’t because he was failing.

There is an episode where Sookie is pregnant for the first time and she is complaining that the baby is never going to come out. Lorelei shows Sookie her baby box from 1984, they make a comment about the book titled 1984 and everything. I’m not sure if Jess is older than Rory but I thought when he first moved to town Rory was still supposed to be 16 and Luke told Lorelei his 17 year old nephew was coming to live with him
