  I just can’t believe they put Luke and Chris on the same disc. I can’t even begin to rant about that. But the 7.05(I think, the beginning of S7 is a little fuzzy) deleted scene was interesting and I so wish we had seen it on the show. It was definitely worth watching.

  I love the packaging, the color is very similar to the season five box set but it is a tad darker (: But the packaging is full of beautiful pictures, a good back of the boxset and rave reviews. I miss this show so much, and rewatching a lot of the beginning of season seven made me realize it wasnt that bad of a season.

  I hate the cover and the back. Ugh. How much more can they promote a couple that couldn’t even make it through half the season married? I mean, the arc de triumphe, the wedding rings, a guest star appearing on the discs, the horrible and over-used ugly Paris promo on the back. I can’t even begin to talk about it. I miss the old GG and honestly, if the writing for S8 would have been anything like 7, well then, I’m glad we didn’t have to endure it.

  As for the box set, well, could they make it anymore 5 year old-ish? Honestly, a doll house? And not even a good dollhouse, like Lorelai’s, but one that little six years olds play with. They are completely trying to sell the DVDs for an age that wasn’t/isn’t interested in the show. For God’s sake half the last season was about sex- Lorelai sleeping with Chris, Rory with Logan, Rory on the phone with Logan. They really need a new ad agency to campaign these. Most GG watchers are, what, over 14? Give or take a year or two and considering what the premise of the show was, they’re portraying the images completely wrong. They make it seem like GG is one of those stupid girl-y shows where all the girls are sluts and stupid and blonde(no offense to all the blondes reading this, I’m talking about Paris Hilton and others like her).

  But yeah, that’s why I’m NOT buying anything related to S7.

  i love the color of the box.. gorgeous! (couldn’t miss it when i was looking for it in the store).
  hate how the dvds are arranged in the box, like season 6 :(… and worst of all, Chris is on the DVD with Luke :(

  i freaked when i seen luke and chris on the same dvd. agh!

  and while i was interested it the day with keiko on the extras.. i was kinda upset that there was nothing with lauren graham or anything.. disappointment.

  anyone buy the series set? is it cool? is there anything extra that comes along with it?

  Was wondering if anyone bought the series set? I have all the individual seasons, and wanted to know if the extras are the same? Or someone could list the extras from the series set, if you don’t know the ones from the individual sets.

  My DVD just arrived. I love the packaging and extras but I think they gave way much spoilers on the back cover.

  I got my copy from ebay but still feel a bit cheated the way season 7 ended. We NEED a proper final…..give it to us with a Season 8, I’d be happy with a half season.

  hey sorry this much later then the rest but I got the whole thing being as never brought an DVD on the Gilmore Girls, (I borrowed it)
  ANd as far as I can tell there is no extra extras the booklet is just them redoing the inlays that you get anyway, I guessing as they slimilar to the one on the WEst Wing.
  Having said that thought thre was meant to be a extra disc, (I heard it here)
