Alexis Bledel’s Movie to Start Filming
Alexis Beledel’s latest movie, previously titled "Ticket To Ride", and now titled "The Post-Grad Survival Guide", will begin shooting on Monday in LA.
Alexis Bledel will be joined by a fabulous cast including Zach Gilford (’Friday Night Lights’) as her love interest! Also cast are Michael Keaton, Carol Burnett and Rodrigo Santoro.
Bledel will play the lead role of Ryden Malby, a girl who must move back home to her eccentric family after graduating from college. Ryden looks for a job, tries to meet the right guy and to figure out where her life is going. Though details on all characters have not yet been released, Santoro is cast to be a neighbor of Ryden’s - an informercial director, friend and confidant.

NOOO! Alexis should teamed up w/ Rodrigo Santoro coz cant you see how good-looking & hot he is! Besides their features would blend more as Rodrigo is a 6′ 2″ Brazilian hunk while Alexis is a mestiza Argentinian descent… Good match isnt it?!

i think alexis was kinda desperate for a job, cause before GG, she had no acting experience ut cause of the succes of the show she was offered movie roles. now that it´s over, i think people will start to not offer her so many roles in good movies. this 1 seems lame…

We’re talking romantic comedy here, right? Not exactly my cup of tea, but at least it is better than most of the junk Lauren Graham has been stuck with the last few years.
BTW, thanks Truish for using the word mestiza. I’ve never heard it before, but after looking it up, it is the only word I’ve seen that I think describes her properly.

alexis has finally gotten work? is the world coming to an end?! nah just kidding. but seriously..this might be decent. with carol burnett and michael keaton in it. who knows? im just glad to see that alexis didn’t quit gg for nothing. obviously she quit for a potential B or B- movie. way to go! NOT!

Is this a forum for Alexis Bledel or simply one to slag her off? What a nasty little bunch some of you can be.
This is Alexis’ second movie since leaving GG, and looks as if it will be quite good.
For those of you who are still blaming Alexis for single handedly bringing about the end of GG, I think it is time to grow up and get over it.

Isnt This Suppose 2 Be A Fansite? Alexis Is A Great Actress And Is Trying 2 Grow As An Actress So She Left GG. Just Because Shes Not Out And About Everywhere Does Nop Mean Shes Not Doing Anything- It Means She Actually Has A Life. Good Luck With Filming Alexis!

I don’t think that it would end up as what it seems. Just reading between the lines of how Rodrigo’s character is, I’m seeing that Gilford would then be a boyfriend but would turn out to be a jerk so Alexis would end w/ her friend and confidant Rodrigo. Well a “vain hope” as it is…

Oh please quit on being a hater & get a life! Wont you give Alexis a notch that she had landed another movie role on her own & a “lead” one at that even if you dont see her “whoring” herself in the media & tabloids just like her other TV contemporaries…

I don’t believe Alexis was desperate for this job at all. I think she’s more interested in working behind the scenes.
It wouldn’t surprise me if she went back to NYU’s Tisch, finished Film & Television and started working with the crew instead of with the cast.
I’m just saying, maybe there’s more in Alexis’ life than searching for a big part in a good movie.

I’m liking this latest movie of Alexis much better than SOTP sequel coz she’s in the lead role, its looks promising, had an awesome cast and more importantly she got a truly hot & better-looking leading men out here. Rodrigo Santoro??? Well definitely a sure win to drool & to watch for!

erin, I think it is funny that you like that picture. To me it looks like someone went overboard with the color treatment in Photoshop. She doesn’t even look human. What I like most about her look is that she need doesn’t all of that nonsense.

You just sounded so much like one of those “disenchanted” GG fanatic that keeps on pinning AB that she’s the sole reason on why GG’s season 8 or movie wont get/yet materialized.
