Aliens in America & Supernatural Update
According to tvweek, the CW has unveiled tentative post-strike plans for it’s shows. While it’s dramas, including "Supernatural", will go back to film the 5-6 episodes needed to wrap up the active season, half-hour sitcoms like "Aliens in America" will make do with what is already filmed for this season.
"Aliens in America" filmed 18 out of the planned 22 episodes for Season 1, and has yet to air the remainder of these episodes. The final four expected episodes will not be filmed.
"Supernatural", still seeing new episodes at the moment, will break temporarily with new fare returning in late April to end out this season.
No official word on season renewals has been made, but neither show appears to be on the chopping block. However, it looks like both Scott Patterson and Jared Padalecki are safe with their CW contracts for the time being!

It’s sad that Aliens in America won’t be filming the other episodes, but I’m very excited that Supernatural will be. At least they’re both coming back next year!

i love aliens in america and supernatural but aliens in america is my favorite…scott patterson is the best!!

aliens in america and supernatural are both good shows…i love aliens in america…scott patterson luke is amazing it in too
