Here is Kelly’s review:
So while last week’s video focused on the entire cast, this one focuses on my favorite couple—Luke and Lorelai. I love the concept behind this video—it starts with clips from Lorelai’s failed relationships in the past then shows Lorelai’s denial of her feelings for Luke. Of course, the town knows better, and, in true Stars Hollow fashion, they try to convince her otherwise. And the song choice is great. Maybe my love of this Disney song reveals my dorkiness, but whether you’re a Disney fan or not, you have to admit that this song fits Luke and Lorelai perfectly. Melissaeverlasting matches the lyrics to the clips brilliantly. My favorite part—and the funniest part of the video—is when Taylor seems to be convincing her that she is in love with Luke. Overall, this video’s upbeat tone makes me smile every time I watch it.

WOW! I loved this song in “Hercules”, but had forgotten about it until now … perfect for the whole LukeandLorelai multi-season flirtation/denial/consumation narrative arc. LOVED how melissaeverlasting matched the female voices who are insisting on the fact that she’s in love to the clips of Emily, Sookie and Rory (the women in Lorelai’s life who were able to see Luke’s feelings all along and kept pointing them out to Lorelai “Queen of Denial” Gilmore). I’m going to watch it again … fantastic video. And thanks Arieanna and Kelly for keeping the Gilmore Girls site alive!
