Sarah can’t wake up Coco - Buddy comes with coffee for Sarah. Sarah has him go out again and ring the doorbell. They need her to choose paint colors so the painters can do her room on Wednesday. Coco can’t function before her coffee. And can’t get the machine to function.
Sarah has a meeting with Ethan McCormack, a writer, later that morning. So the office is all buzzing. Marcus comes in at Sarah’s request, and she sticks him in an office to read a book draft.
Coco calls because she can’t figure out how to use the stereo. She refuses to read t
he brochures / manuals (dispute ensues). Coco then is surprised by the maid - but at least he maid knows how to use the stereo! Furniture is delivered, but the maid takes over (sort of). Coco retreats to her room. But, since her room has no bed, she goes to lay on Sarah’s bed.
When Ron Tompkins, Coco’s father, comes over, she hides in the closet. He has a 
refurbished humidifier for her.
Marcus loves the manuscript - it’s written by a 15-year-old boy. The ideal book for boys - they have to sign him. Ethan, the genius writer, is wearing a Viking costume. He proceeds to go around the room talking about the books he’s read and pointing out errors. Sarah mentions tickets to the Knicks, and lunch reservations, but they don’t seem interested in either. So, what does Ethan like? Towels. They spent hours at a Bed, Bath & Beyond. Sarah is telling this to Marcus, who would have loved the Knicks tickets. They went to Buddy instead.
Sarah comes home and finds Coco still in the closet. Ron was there for a while, then she fell asleep. She feels out of place at Sarah’s - no place of her own, and nothing to do.
Sarah tells Coco that she’s going to the gynecologist - then they can take her to a temp agency to get something to do. Coco ignored her choice on paint - there are some choices that Sarah won’t give to Coco. And the doctor is one of them. No bus-ad doctor for Coco.
At the gynecologist, Sarah is suspicious of Coco saying she’s only been with 6 men in her life. She toured with a band. Sarah has been with 21 men, thanks to her college years. They call for "Caroline" - aka Coco - to go in. Sarah insists on coming, but Coco refuses. Sarah is left defending herself to the waiting room.
It’s not long, though, before Coco calls for Sarah. She’s afraid of needles. And, apparently, the last time Coco went to the doctor she was 8 years old! Sarah coaches her onto the chair and turns her head from the needle. Sarah then sings a Shirley Temple song to the frightened Coco. And it’s done. Coco asks Sarah to stay.
Eating takeout later, Sarah reminds Coco that there will be a lot of needles, and other not so nice procedures, coming up. Coco then chooses her own paint color. And later, Coco and Sarah watch the Shirley Temple movie that Sarah thinks was Coco’s favorite - Coco doesn’t remember it.

This episode was a disappointment and now the series has been cancelled. Oh well…

WHAT THIS SERIES HAS BEEN CANCELLED WHERE WAS THAT POSTED? oH WELL MAYBE SHE’LL HAVE TIME NOW TO DO A GILMORE GIRLS MOVIE SOONER………..
