- Dena confronts Sam and now Sam has lost a friend - meanwhile, Andrea gets to go to karaoke with Sam and Chase
- Sam puts on butterfly wings to join the protest and says something beautiful about corrupting her friendships on the news (which Dena sees while trying to distract her dogs from watching her and Chase have sex)
- Regina brings Sam some blankets and food, telling her that she’s proud of the stand she’s taking
- Samantha is not able to save the butterflies, and she quits her job
- Sam decides to take control of what she can, and goes to see Todd - he apologizes for blowing her off in his panic, he didn’t even have a job with the paper. Todd wants to give things a chance with Chloe.
- Sam then kisses Todd and pushes him down, telling him to lose sleep over that. She then proudly walks off.
- Sam discovers that the butterflies have found a new home over a flower stand
So, what did you think of this episode? Of the stands that Sam chose to make? Was it a good move to quit her job? What should Sam do now? And what happened to Funk in all of this? Do you think we are to assume Sam blew him off once and for all after Todd kissed her?

This episode was directed by Lee Shallat Chemel who also worked on Gilmore Girls.
I’m enjoying this show a lot and really like that Christina, Melissa, Jean and Jennifer work well together.
