I beleive that luke really punches christopher for his anger at the situation and also because he knew they were together and yet he still agreed to sleep with lorelai
Lorelai beleives luke doesnt want to marry her because he didnt jump and elope with her right at that moment. I mean we all know he is a slow mover and she should have given him more time
I beleive tha Lorelai did treat Rory like a child and i was glad when she stood up to her mom, explaining that she did make a mistake. Rory is more mad at Lorelai for them sleeping together because she should have had the heart to tell her.
Chris is still calling lorelai beacuse he thought them sleeping together was something more and again this is lorelaos fault for giving him this idea.
I think that Luke does acccept some blame for the breakup for not acting quickly but also he knows that lorelai made a mistake running to christopher that night
yea i think lorelai held out hope that she was going to reconcile with luke but i mean c’mon she acted like it was all his fault but she was also to blame so she got what she deserved and i really felt bad for luke during these epidsodes

That good Luke really mad and punches Chris for slept with Lorelai and Luke know that he and Lorelai still love each other, when they known then become friend until 1 season.
I think Lorelai kinda treat Rory like a child that she did not tell her about slept with Chris.I’m glad that Rory more mad, yelling at Lorelai and stood for her mother about she make mistakes.
I think Lorelai thought and believe that Luke dont want marry Lorelai, because of April and want let Luke go now, when they broke up.
Because Chris want know make sure Lorelai is ok and want talk to him anything.
Lorelai felt bad,her fault and blame her for slept with Chris and broke up with Luke.
I hate see that Luke still hurt during episodes.

The Asia scene is one of the few scenes that irritate me. Such a serious moment and they are dressed in silly costumes with bright lipstick - it all clashes for my liking.

Had luck really had his chances with Lorelay? Did he always blow them up? Does he really want to marry her? Not sure. Lorelay is a very complicated woman… of course she loves Luck… Now! But after? Luck knows women. And he also knows that Lorelay doesn’t belong to the average secured women category, she is more like a bird that, one day, without any known reason, can go through the window and never come back again. At that time, marry her would have resolved nothing… Luck knows that.
They love each other, of course, but where one is looking for stability; the other is looking for something else… Passion, perhaps? She may think that she is ready to get marry… She may be not… And Luck also knows that. April is only a pretext he takes, perhaps to gives them more time… However, those inner conflicts are too much for Luck. He feels as if he was trapped in an uncontrollable situation. When he punched Christopher, he simply tried to get relieve from all those feelings that he is unable to cope with. But, Christopher is not the reason of the problems.
Has Christopher ever confused Lorelay? He is not strong or imaginative enough for that. Lorelay was looking for something when she first went through the whole hog with him, and she still is looking for something. Christopher is also trapped in this difficult situation. Later, when he meets Luck, he has already tried everything he could, but he has failed. So he also must react in order to get rid off of all his aggressiveness, and suffering. Luck is not the problem either, but the fighting is the only solution left to both men. And they fight. But there is no winner. Only two men that are suffering, that still don’t know how to deal with the situation.
Difficult situation indeed, for Lorelay’s father has already left the bird go away… of course, the undertaker invited by Lorelay’s mother was boring… But, we must keep in mind that writers use some themes as symbols in order to emphasize some aspects of the soul of their characters. In this episode, we see that, for Lorelay, the idea of marriage is associated with the idea of death. Stability, social behavior, or conventions, and so one are also seen as graves for her… She must escape from them. With Luck, perhaps she has found the One… Yet, she still is not sure. And when an unsure Luck opened inadvertently all the windows of their love story, Lorelay spread her wings and flew away…

I love this episode. It is absolutely amazing. Lorelai puts together the Asia theme for 2 reasons: she doesn’t want Rory to feel sad and it might have been a way for her to try and get over Luke. I think this episode corresponds with Season 1 Episode 17 “The Breakup Part II”. In this episode, Rory and Dean had just broken up. So, Rory rearranged the furniture (just like Lorelai did in this episode). She also made a huge list of things that “needed” to get done (Lorelai reflected this with buying all the stuff “needed” for the Asia theme). At the end of the episode, Lorelai comes home to find Rory on the couch crying her eyes out. In this episode, Rory comes home to find Lorelai on the couch crying her eyes out. In both instances, they do not say a word. Also, the couch is facing the front window in both episodes. I may be getting a little ahead of myself, but I just noticed the comparison.
