Alexis Bledel at “Battle in Seattle” Premiere

Alexis Bledel, so rarely making appearances to Hollywood events these days, came out for the premiere of Battle in Seattle. The screening, hosted by W Magazine, was held in Malibu on June 29th.
Battle in Seattle is a Stuart Townsend action drama about activists protesting a World Trade Organization meeting, with the riots and chaos that ensues. The movie stars Charlize Theron, Joshua Jackson, Michelle Rodriguez and Woody Harrelson.

Man alive! I thought this girl had fallen off the face of the planet. Now, I have a question. I have heard lots of talk about a Gilmore Girls tv movie. Is there any truth to that, and if so…WHEN!!??
Does she smoke? I’ve noticed that she’s very freckly on her arms and neck area…And she doesn’t seem to expose herself to the sun that much because she’s quite light. So I’m guessing she smokes?
I’m have a lot of freckles and I have never smoked a day in my life. Where did you learn that? Haven’t you seen little kids running around covered from head to toe in freckles? You think they smoke? Come on.
Well I didn’t know hispanics had freckles…they seemed to have very clear complexions to me. So she doesn’t smoke? Sorry if I offended you.

The complexion of her skin, which is pale, is why she has freckles. I expose myself to sun on a daily basis, but since I am a light complextion as well, I never tan either.
But what makes you so sure that she doesn’t smoke? She dates people who smoke. Milo smoked. He didn’t quit until after they broke up. The guy she was in NYC with also smokes, as seen in other pictures. She doesn’t seem like the type, but she certainly likes to hang around people who smoke.
Alexis is such a VISION! I still think that she’s the prettiest among the gals of SOTP…
I must say that she’s one of the rarest who goes well w/ bangs!

I was stoked, too, to see that Alexis attended the Battle in Seattle screening in Malibu last weekend! She’s super pretty, like everyone else has said. It’s also awesome that she has come out of ‘hiding’ and publicly shown her support for THIS film. It’s gotten standing ovations at film festivals and has met with some great reviews. the site for the film is http://www.battleinseattle.com and there’s also a facebook fan page and group called “Who Controls the World?” The film is so freaking awesome - it’s like an awesome mix of Hollywood and activism. It’s Hollywood… but really ABOUT something. I love it!

“Ageing” seems to be not happening too soon on her. I mean at the age of 27, she could still passed up around an 18 year old…

Agree! It seems that she’s ageing “gradually” and not to forget beautifully LOL! I could say that she looks even younger than the likes of Lindsay L., Mischa B., Olsen Twins & even Keira K. who are just in their early 20’s What a great genes she had!

There’s nothing wrong with having a smoking fetish, but could you be a little more subtle? Sorry to disappoint you, but there is no evidence that she smokes so for now, go google Michelle Trachtenberg.
She still has the Rory babyface… she never looks older through the years, that’s amazing huh? She could always play Rory. I don’t think she smokes because it makes you look older and she doesn’t… she even looks a lot younger than she is. It’s really nice to hear something about her, she looks so pretty.
I DONT THINK SHE SMOKES! Her flawless skin and baby face (even nearing at her 30’s) just says it all - nuff said!
Seriously if she smokes, she would definitely looked like “Lindsay Lohan” since both of them have freckles and pale skin though definitely leading an opposite lifestyle.
LL is just 22 but could definitely passed up nearing her 30’s already…
I think she’s still only 26. Her birthday’s in Sept., so she’ll be 27 then.

I don’t know what the deal is with that Jess guy and smoking, but her skin tone has nothing to do with that. Alexis’s dad is from Argentina and her mom grew up in Mexico, but her mom’s actually of french decent. So that could explain the pale skin.
