The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 premiered last night in New York City. All of the Pants girls came out for the red carpet & premiere - Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera and Blake Lively.

I love Alexis and all, but I’m not sure about this look for her. It just didn’t look “fun” like this movie is supposed to be. Her eyes were amazing, but that lipstick was a little too much! I didn’t like her dress, and the shoes were definitely not good…they were too big on her! None of the girls look really that great, and Amber looks so unhappy!
i’m not too fond of her pink lipstick!!
but other than that, she looks stunning!
I think she looks like true star! On pictures on other website for the same event her lipstick shown as beatiful red color. Shoes - ya - not my favorite - but it’s current trend - gladiator shoes. I love the dress - stunning. That’s how I see Rory (different shoes) showing up and seeing Logan after break! I want our show back!
Alexis looks beautiful, as always. Her eyes are Becky-blue (Sin City reference)! The dress and shoes were okay, but the hot pink lipstick definitely did not go.
ABCfamily will be having a special priemere party with the 4 girls of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (the original) this Sunday at 7 and 9:30!!!

Now that I’ve seen the closeups, I’m not a fan of this dress at all and I’m not too keen on the lipstick either. The rest of it, I like. But when you look at the pictures, the things that jump out are the dress and the lipstick - the worst parts of the ensemble.
I just don’t know what she (or her designer) is trying to achieve here.
this look is a lot different from “rory-style”, which I love, but she is gorgeous anyway!

Alexis looks like she belongs in a Robert Palmer video. I think she would look better with her hair down.
i agree with “W”, she doesn’t look good at all: Her makeup and her dress are unflattering. She should have worn a cute maxi dress or something else thats light and flirty-similar to the tone of the movie. its like she was trying to dress for the oscars or something….
is it just me or does she always look awkward on red carpets? not just movement, cause i know she is a bit shy but outfit choices, a lot of the time im just left shaking my head.

Alexis looks very chic. This was an evening premiere and she’s dressed very appropriately. She looks sophisticated and carries the look well. Since she kept the rest of her makeup light and she’s dressed in black, she looks good in the pink lipstick.

maybe it’s the hair.. she looks so formal..
