Melissa McCarthy and Missi Pyle
Missi Pyle and Melissa McCarthy were spotted in a very friendly embrace at Katsuya in Hollywood on Saturday July 26, 2008. Missi and Melissa star together in the new movie entitled Pretty Ugly People.
The movie, Pretty Ugly People, is about six estranged friends brought together as a dying woman’s wish. Missi Pyle stars as Lucy, the woman battling obesity her entire life and spending a final weekend with her friends. Her friends arrive to see the situation to be different, and Lucy comes to regret bringing them out to the wildnerness for a weekend.
Melissa McCarthy plays one of Lucy’s friends, Becky. You can watch a video of Melissa McCarthy talking about her character here. The movie premiered on June 27th at the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival, and will be playing at other film festivals this summer. Here’s some footage from the film:

I just read an old update about Alexis starring in a movie called The Orphan King. Was she really nude in that movie? That just doesn’t seem like Alexis to me. Is that the reason why the movie never got into theaters? I was just really astonished when I read the update.
