Todd Lowe in “True Blood”
Todd Lowe (Zack Van Gerbig on Gilmore Girls) attended the LA premiere of the new HBO vampire series True Blood on September 4th. Todd Lowe has a guest role in the second episode of the series, “The First Taste” as Terry Bellefleur on September 14th.

True Blood is based Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire Mystery book series. The series explores the co-existence of vampires and humans in a fictional town in Louisiana. A co-existence made possible by synthetic blood called “TruBlood”. The series opens on waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) welcoming a vampire, Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) to Merlotte’s bar. Both characters are pictured above and have a love story through the series.
The second episode, “The First Taste” has Bill helping Sookie out of a dangerous situation with the Rattrays. Sookie then invites Bill to her grandmother’s house to meet the family, but Jason is unnerved when they go for a night time stroll. The walk ends at the Compton mansion.
This is Todd Lowe’s first return to acting since the end of Gilmore Girls.

In terms of Todd Lowe’s character on Gilmore Girls, the spelling of his name has always been annoying to me! No matter how many “official” sources I look at - imdb, DVDs, WB site, Wikipedia, etc - I find both spellings. So I have alternated between both “Zack” and “Zach” in the past.
Which spelling do you like best / think is official?
