Vanessa Marano on Ghost Whisperer

Following her guest appearance on The Closer, Vanessa Marano guest starred on Ghost Whisperer. Vanessa played Alise Jones in the episode “Ghost in the Machine“, which aired on October 17th.
In the episode, Melinda (Jennifer Love-Hewitt) was introduced to a virtual world somewhat like ‘Second Life’. In it, Melinda finds a ghost by the player name “Phoenix”. This ghost is obsessed with a school girl, Alise (Vanessa Marano), who was online to escape her family life, but “escape” is not so easy with a child predator in the game too. However, there is a very important twist in the game that involves Alise’s father in an unexpected way!

i was never a fan of Vanessa Marano, but i have to say her appearance on this episode was great!
shes really growing up, and i’m starting to like her as an actress!
(wow, i never thought i’d say that)
I didn’t care fort her much in some of her other roles - not the fault of the actress - but I think she’s going to be a great Eden on Y&R!
