What does GG mean to you?

October 30, 2008 by Arieanna

The NY Post asks, “What does ‘GG’ Mean To You?“. I can probably say with a great deal of confidence here that you’ll think Gilmore Girls with any reference of GG. But that’s not the case with everyone. The “GG” term is quite generational…

First there was Golden Girls, then Gilmore Girls, and now Gossip Girl.

So, perhaps GG is connected to whichever show came “first” for you, or for whichever show has your heart. But one thing is for certain, it doesn’t mean the same for each person. And what odd coincidence that all three GG shows would have “girl” in them!!

Sadly, I have been really busy this month and didn’t have time to post in advance, but Edward Herrmann recently did a one-night play of My Dearest Anna, where he played painter Julian Alden Weir. You can read more about the play here.
