Mädchen Amick at Emmy’s Tea Party

Mädchen Amick (Sherry on Gilmore Girls) appeared last night at the BAFTA LA’s 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards TV tea party held at the Intercontinental Hotel.
It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from Mädchen. After her show, My Own Worst Enemy, was cancelled, Mädchen went on to film an upcoming TV movie, The Law, and she’s currently filming a new movie, Priest.

She doesn’t even look like herself. She looks beautiful. Maybe it is the darker hair.

I look think she looks like herself, and the darker hair suits her. Very pretty! But I’m not sure I’m feeling the soccer mom leggings.
Madchen had horrible makeup in Gilmore Girls. She has looked better in all other shows she has been in (Twin Peaks, Californication, Gossip Girl). I don’t know what the makeup artists did to her in Gilmore Girls. She looks very much like herself in these pics – it was in Gilmore Girls she didn’t look like herself. (And I think people hated the character so much, they refused to realize that she was actually quite beautiful.)
