Sara Paxton vs Alexis Bledel

I keep up various searches for all the Gilmore Girls actors and a recent interview with Sara Paxton, star of the new series The Beautiful Life, came up. In the interview Sara mentions how often she’s mistaken for Alexis Bledel.
Sarah shares, “I have been getting that all the time ever since ‘Gilmore Girls’ came out. I have been chased down the street before with people yelling, ‘Alexis, Alexis, you’re blonde now!’ And I’m like, ‘No, my name is Sara and I’ve always been blonde!’ ”

There is a little resemblance but Alexis is more gorgeous
They look nothing alike! Alexis Bledel will always be “Rory Gilmore” to me
They would defintely be on-screen sister material
But of course Alexis is way more beautiful, and I for one could’nt imagine Bledel as a blonde.. haha 
Heck yes! That picture is not her at her most Alexis-like, but in films she really resembles Alexis. Totes thought it was Alexis in Sydney White!
hmmmmm I don’t think they are ‘mistake for eachother’ similar. I mean there is one obvious difference that is like a big pink elephant in the room! lol Plus, Alexis has those sparkly, bright blue eyes which Sarah doesn’t have. I agree that they could be on screen sisters though, there is a quick glance resemblence, but a detailed look would show obvious differences.
They don’t look nothing alike Alexis is beautiful so is Sarah but they don’t look alike.

I think the look similar but not enought to actually think one was the other.

Funny if true, guess some folks out there have Alexis on their mind!! Seems like you would have to run through dozens of randomly taken previous photos of each to find a pair where they could be even remotely mistaken for each other. However, with similar body types and height if a make-up artist tried to make them look identical enough to fool the public, it probably could be done but to what purpose??
Also I thought Sara was at least 5 years younger so it’s hard to believe she could have been confused for Alexis 9 years ago when Gilmore Girls started and Sara was only 13 or so.
Wow those pics look a lot like Alexis. Well I think they both are beautiful, however I’ve always been insanely jealous of Alexis’ looks.
I think they look almost identical, which led me to this site. I was watching The Beautiful Life and was surprised that Alexis had gone blonde for the part. The only difference was her voice didn’t quite sound like her. I was shocked that it wasn’t Alexis … and even more shocked that they aren’t even related!!!
Im rooting more for the Canadian model, Lisa Cant to be Alexis “closest” look-alike…

But w/ the likes of her other apparent doppelgangers i.e. Sara Paxton, Katy Perry & Zooey Deschanel. Not seeing anything, as Alexis face/features is/are far more ethereal & fragile than them.

Yap, I’m somewhat seeing “more” similarities bet. Alexis & Lisa… as both of them are “angelic” looking and in fact they also have the same body structure/texture like being lean & waif-like plus the pale skin…
They definitely look alike. I came to this page after watching a movie where Sara is acting a mermaid named aquamarine and for the whole movie i was wondering if this is rory from gilmore girls, and since i dont know the actual name of rory and i saw the name of aquamarine in the cast after the movie finished so i searched for sara paxton and gilmore and this page came up hehe…
Upon further review, there is a fair number of pics of Sara on sites like Ebay where she easily could pass for Alexis until you look at her eye color. Guess I never noticed the similarities because I always knew who I was viewing when watching either of them at work. Also they have different pick-up-points of recognition, at least for me. For instance, with Alexis you first see the eyes then move across the face, with Sara you see the wide smile first then see the rest of the face.
It might be a good exercise in “Punked” to try to switch Sara [with blue contacts and brunette hair] for Alexis [who would be in on the joke] at a party and see how long it would take her friends to pick up on the doppleganger.
I was watching Return to Halloweentown, in which Sara Paxton is brunette, and for the first bit of it I was thinking it was Alexis Bledel until I got a better look at the eyes. With the same hair color, they look soooo much alike!
Yes indeed, in “Return of Halloween” Sara looks very close to Alexis. Even her behavior, in particular the rolling eyes in some scenes, are pretty similar. That is not visible in a picture.
Alexis looks russian as well. And there are thousands of look-alikes of her
Just saw “Return to Halloweentown”, the impression I got was that they both could pass as TWIN sisters. Especially in this movie where Sara has dark hair.

I think they do look alike! I have definitely thought of this before, and I searched it on google images, and apparently I’m not the only one. I do think that Alexis Bledel is prettier, but I may just be fooled by her harsher, prettier coloring. But I completely agree. They both have big, light eyes, bigger foreheads, harsh, straight-ish eyebrows, big, pretty smiles, defined cleft chins, and wavy, very feminine hair.
I had totally thought it was Alexis Bledel in Superhero Movie and Sidney White. I even knew the different names were not the same but I didn’t piece it together until I was watching the beautiful people pilot on YouTube last night. I had just watched those movies and thought, “Oh that’s the Gilmore Girl. She’s hot. ” the funny thing about that is that Bledel benefits from anything that Paxton does all because she got to the party first just because most people will have this mistaken identity.
