David Sutcliffe In “Murder In The Hamptons”

October 27, 2009 by Maria Diaz

This is an oldie but a goodie: over the weekend, I happened to be surfing the channels and caught our David Sutcliffe (Christopher on Gilmore Girls) in a deliciously cheesy Lifetime movie called “Murder In The Hamptons.” In it, David plays charming self-made millionairre Ted Ammon, who falls in love with a spicy firecracker named Poppy Montgomery and is then mysteriously found murdered in his lush Hamptons pad.

This being a Lifetime movie, all the signs point to Poppy and her lover, an electrician. It’s extremely dramatic, over acted, and wonderfully terrible. In other words, it’s everything you want a Lifetime movie to be! If you’re lucky enough to have the Lifetime Movie Network, it’ll be on again November 2 at 8pm ET.

Here’s a clip of the movie that doesn’t have David in it, but refers to his character:

Personally I think made-for-TV movies are a seriously underrated genre
