I’d be curious to see what is actually in the extras. I have to say that the publicity surrounding the film was much more entertaining than the film itself. If the extras center on the actors, I’ll be interested.

@Y – Totally agree. While I enjoyed Michelle’s blog leading up to the movie, I would hope that the extra’s deemphasize the job search advice and social commentary and focus pretty exclusively on the interactions between the actors and the joy/humor associated with their on-the-set activities. I’ll certainly purchase the DVD [when the price is right!].

Yikes, no such luck on the extras [at least on the DVD]. With the exception of deleted scenes, my reading of the list of included extras is that they were plucked almost entirely from the summer blog from Michelle and a few minor interviews that we already had a chance to view for free. Way to step up and put some real effort into giving potential viewers something special for their money…NOT —–

  1. [...] I haven’t seen the movie, so I can’t comment but it doesn’t look like critics liked it too much when it was released. The film only has 9% on Rotten Tomatoes. For those who’ve seen it, what did you think? Will you be buying it on DVD when it’s released January 12? [...]
