Before making her television debut on Gilmore Girls in 2000, Alexis Bledel acted in community theatre in Houston and had a successful modeling career in New York. As a child, Alexis as encouraged to act as a wayto overcome her shyness. Alexis has also studied writing and directing at the NYU Film School.
Alexis Bledel was dating previous co-star Milo Ventimiglia, who played her boyfriend Jess on Gilmore Girls, until very recently. She is now single, though may have a new boyfriend. Alexis has one younger brother, Eric.
Alexis enjoys writing, reading, shooting photography, going to the movies and spending time with her family. Alexis does not enjoy going for coffee - she hates it!
