MTV has posted a new clip from Alexis Bledel’s (Rory on Gilmore Girls) soon to be released film, The Good Guy. I posted the trailer several weeks ago, and the buzz on the film has been growing ever since, which is excellent news. After the flop that was Post-Grad, Alexis needs a hit!

A commenter tipped us off to a new entry on Alexis Bledel’s IMDB page! She’s rumored to be in the sequel to horror and cult classic Sleepaway Camp. This would be a huge departure for Alexis, who up to now has only been in romantic comedies (except for her turn in Sin City). Sleepaway Camp is the franchise of director and writer Robert Hiltzik. The original was released in 1983, and is quite simply, about teens getting killed at a sleep away camp. Last year, Alexis Bledel (Rory on Gilmore Girls) starred in an independent film, The Good Guy, which luckily was picked up for distribution by Roadside Attractions after a run at the Tribeca Film Festival. However, this past weekend, Alexis traded in her period piece dresses for a much chic-er look as she made her way to New York City for several very fun events. Heads up, Alexis Bledel (Rory on Gilmore Girls) fans! Fox Home Entertainment has announced that Alexis’s film Post -Grad will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on January 12, 2010; just in time for you to spend your Best Buy or Amazon gift cards. Cinema Blend also reports that the DVD will come with lots of extras, many which include job-hunting advice, in the spirit of the film; which follows the story of a young woman facing a harsh job market after graduating from college.

Well, isn’t this interesting: on IMDB Alexis Bledel (Rory on Gilmore Girls) is listed as having a guest role on the next season of Lost. She’s credited as “Janna Austen” in an episode titled “LA X: Part 2, “which is the second episode of next season. A fan emailed Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly to find out the scoop and he replied that the IMDB listing was false and Alexis would not be appearing.

Rejoice, comic nerds (I mean this in the best possible way!) and Alexis Bledel (Rory on Gilmore Girls) fans: producer Stephen L’Heureux has revealed that the highly-anticipated Sin City 2 will begin production in the second half of 2010. If you’ll recall, Alexis Bledel, who played Becky in the film, gave an interview earlier this year revealing that her character was in the script for the sequel, even though her character was killed in the first Sin City. Many of you have been asking for more news on Alexis Bledel’s (Rory on Gilmore Girls) current project, the Robert Redford film “The Conspirator.” It’s being shot in Savannah, Georgia and the city is so proud to have the film shoot there that they have created a website for fans to follow along with the production at home.
