ABC Family will be showing the basic cable premiere of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants this Sunday at 7/6c and again at 9:30/8:30c.

Such an amazing movie and 4 girls couldn’t be better paired together than Alexis Bledel, Blake Lively, America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn.

And it’s countdown time already for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, which is scheduled for a US premiere of August 8, 2008.

FOX Atomic kindly supplied me with more information about Alexis Bledel’s new movie, "The Post Grad Survival Guide."

The movie, which began filming on Monday in LA and is scheduled to continue filming through to February 12, will star Alexis Bledel as Ryden Malby, and co-star Zach Gilford, Michael Keaton, Carol Burnett, and Rodrigo Santoro.

Ryden Malby, as we know, must move back to her eccentric family after college. Trying to figure out where her life is going, optimist Ryden becomes frustrated and confused about how her life is ’supposed’ to be. She realizes that her platonic best friend is the only one who makes everything in her life make sense.

The movie will be directed by Vicky Jensen, who won an Academy Award for her work on Shrek.

A few promotional stills have been released for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, which stars Alexis Bledel, Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn & America Ferrera. The second photo is one we saw during the filming stage, but the first one is new. America & Amber prove that not only can they fit into the same jeans, but also in to the same gown!

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 is a mixture of all 3 of the last books in the series (mostly the fourth/last book). The movie follows the four friends as they must separate yet again - we will follow them in their own lives and see them struggle to keep their ’sisterhood’ bond.

Alexis Beledel’s latest movie, previously titled "Ticket To Ride", and now titled "The Post-Grad Survival Guide", will begin shooting on Monday in LA.

Alexis Bledel will be joined by a fabulous cast including Zach Gilford (’Friday Night Lights’) as her love interest! Also cast are Michael Keaton, Carol Burnett and Rodrigo Santoro.

Bledel will play the lead role of Ryden Malby, a girl who must move back home to her eccentric family after graduating from college. Ryden looks for a job, tries to meet the right guy and to figure out where her life is going. Though details on all characters have not yet been released, Santoro is cast to be a neighbor of Ryden’s - an informercial director, friend and confidant.

Alexis Bledel has signed on for a new movie called "Ticket to Ride." The college comedy will be directed by Vicky Jenson (of ‘Shrek’). The screenplay was written by Kelly Fremon.

The "Gilmore Girls" star will play Ryden Malby, a college grad who is forced to move back into her childhood home with her eccentric family while she attempts to find a job, the right guy and some direction for her life.

"Ticket to Ride" will begin filming in December with a $15 million budget. Tom Pollock is executive producer.

It will be great to see Alexis Bledel taking on more movie roles. I was worried she’d take a long break after Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. But it looks like Alexis has no thoughts of giving up acting just yet! And a comedy role is perfect for her.

ABC Family asks "Should Alexis Join the GG Movie?" and gives hope to us Gilmore Girls fans that the movie may get the green light. But, that maybe Alexis Bledel needs some convincing:

Rumor has it that Amy Sherman-Palladino, the original creator and writer of "Gilmore Girls," wants to conclude the story with a two-hour TV movie. Most of the cast, including Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson, seem to be on board. But Alexis Bledel is holding out, word has it, to see how she feels at the time. What do you think? Should she give Rory one last go, or leave her be?

The Gimore Girls would not be the same without Alexis. My hope is that with time, with the right script, and with the rest of the cast supporting her, she’ll come around! Then again, we don’t know ABC’s source for the ‘word’ on this one, and Alexis could really want to do it. I hope she does!

Alexis Bledel was spotted going out for lunch at 4th Cafe in West Hollywood on September 25th in a lovely breezy dress. She looks adorable the way she’s standing and fiddling, and also looks very relaxed.
