Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) recently sat down with Envy Magazine for an interview and photoshoot. In the interview, entitled “Alexis Bledel - Class Act,” Alexis talks about her new movie, Post Grad, which will be released to theaters on August 21, 2009.

Alexis talked about the intimidation of working with a comedy crew and about working with Carol Burnett in particular. Alexis tells a funny story of how she had this image of Carol from Annie, which was completely different from how she was in real life (of course).

Talking of image, Alexis talks about how she doesn’t often get called in for “R” rated films, because “they think audiences don’t want to see that” from her, often times because they consider her in the light of her work on Gilmore Girls. She says sometimes she can psyche herself out of trying for those roles too! That said, Alexis shares she’d love to do a “really twisted psychological thriller.” Read more

Lauren Graham is getting a lot of publicity for her upcoming Broadway debut in Guys and Dolls which opens for previews on Wednesday and has opening night on March 1st at the Nederlander Theater. You can buy tickets here.

Lauren Graham went on Letterman last week to talk about her role in Guys and Dolls as Miss Adelaide and how excited she is to be a part of “one of the most beautiful musicals ever written.” Leading with Lauren in the stellar cast are Oliver Platt, Craig Bierko, and Kate Jennings Grant, the sexy new take on the production is getting a lot of buzz!

The Houston Chronicle says that this is the busiest Broadway season in two decades! There are 40 new productions for the 2008-2009 season with famous actors taking the stage. There’s already talk of what this could mean for the Tony Awards this summer (cross your fingers that Lauren will be nominated!). A simple search of Google will show you how much buzz there has been about this production (more than half way to the buzz level Katie Holmes achieved for All My Sons - even with daily candid photos!).

Milo Ventimiglia poses for Issue 3 of Corduroy Magazine, a quarterly arts and fashion magazine that profiles actors, musicians and fine artists. In his interview with the magazine, Milo Ventimiglia talks about family and life as a celebrity. 

"I had a completely normal upbringing, which I’m very happy about. It’s a nice example that you don’t have to be a fuck-up, you don’t have to come from a broken family, or be high on drugs, or have lived on the streets to be able to succeed in the industry. When I was younger, my peers would always talk about the hard times and the down times, and  how that helped them get to that better place as an actor. It’s like, no man, that put you in rehab."

Milo is honestly baffled by celebrity and paparazzi, and why anyone would ever want to see photos of him taking out his trash.

Alexis Bledel did a photoshoot and interview with Parade Magazine. It’s a short interview, but has some interesting facts about Alexis. Such as the fact that she began acting at a community theater to overcome her being bashful. Or her fitness routine, which now includes karate and boxing!

Scott Cohen (Max Medina on Gilmore Girls) will be returning to television with Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino for ‘The Return of Jezebel James‘, which previews on March 12th and premieres on March 14 at 8:30 on FOX.

Scott Cohen plays the love interest to Parker Posey’s character, Sarah Tompkins. His character, Marcus Sonti, is described as a successful businessman. Their relationship is described as a "perfect, no-strings-attached relationship." I wonder if ’strings’ will appear after his girlfriend decides to have a baby, but finds she cannot. Lauren Graham’s "Bad Santa" came out in Blu-ray last month - essentially, this is the Badder Santa unrated version and the Director’s Cut version all tossed into the Blu-Ray high definition format. Not many movies (just over 400) have made it to the Blu-Ray format, which is at war with the HD DVD format to be dominant player in the HD movie market.

At any rate, this is a big step celebrating this amazing ‘cult favorite’ movie. It’s nasty, it’s comic, it’s fabulous! It’s also a great excuse to look back at Lauren Graham in Bad Santa with a wide variety of photos and video clips!!
