David Sutcliffe in “Misconceptions”
June 16, 2009 by Arieanna
David Sutcliffe (Christopher Hayden on Gilmore Girls) stars in the upcoming release Misconceptions.
The film follows the story of Miranda Bliss (AJ Cook), a religiously conservative, married woman who receives a message from God telling her to become a surrogate mother for a gay couple. The couple, a Jewish doctor (David Moscow) and an African-American choreographer (Orlando Jones), are very excited… so much so that
David Sutcliffe stars as Parker Bliss Sr, Miranda’s husband. The couple are reeling after the death of their only son, Parker Jr, and are not ready yet to have more kids of their own. Miranda, herself opposed to gay marriage, and Parker, an anti-gay activist, so you can see how troublesome this could be. Add in that Miranda agrees to be the surrogate without telling Parker… the whole story is complex in its workings, but tells a touching story about love and grief and, of course, misconceptions.

Pre-Order DVDs with Gilmore Girls Stars
June 2, 2009 by Arieanna
You can now pre-order the DVDs for Heroes - Season Three (starring Milo Vengimialia) & Supernatural: The Complete Fourth Season (starring Jared Padalecki). I personally enjoyed both series’ this past season, though Supernatural was fantastic beyond compare. Heroes made a bit of a comeback, so I look forward to where next season will go!
In addition, you can pre-order Samantha Who?: The Complete Second Season (starring Melissa McCarthy), which (unless the petition is successful) is the last season of the show. The DVD will *probably* contain the un-aired final episodes. Cancelled early in 2008 and also available on DVD are My Own Worst Enemy: The Complete Series (starring Mädchen Amick) and Trust Me (starring Vanessa Marano). And for those David Sutcliffe fans, don’t forget Private Practice: The Complete Second Season .
Gilmore Girls stars made SO many guest appearances on tv in the past year that I can’t name all the DVDs. But you’re sure to find the talented cast appearing in lots of your favorite shows!

Back in November when I last reviewed the ongoing relationship, David’s character had been shot and was struggling with feelings that he wasn’t good enough for Addison. And it was just a mess from there. In December, Kevin got in a huff about Addison treating a prostitute because of potential connections to crime. It ended up in a fight about Addison’s control issues and Kevin’s different perspective on life. He left… for a while. And it wasn’t great when they got back together briefly. Read more
David Sutcliffe in “Before You Say ‘I Do’”
January 27, 2009 by Arieanna
David Sutcliffe (Christopher Hayden on Gilmore Girls) stars in the upcoming Hallmark original movie Before You Say ‘I Do’ which will premiere on February 14, 2009.
David Sutcliffe stars in this time-twisting comedy with Jennifer Westfeldt, Lauren Holly, Brad Borbridge, Jeff Roop, John Boyland and Brandon Firla. Before You Say ‘I Do’ is about the story of a man, George Murray (Sutcliffe) who runs afoul of bad timing. The love of his life, Jane (Westfeldt) is too afraid to commit to marrying George after her first husband broke her heart. Desperate, George makes a wish to send him back 10 years to try again. His wish comes true and George has only a few days to keep Jane from marrying her first husband and to fall in love with him instead!
In an interview about the new movie, David Sutcliffe says he has no interest in going back in time like his character did - that he’s a different person now. When it comes to being romantic, Sutcliffe says that this year he’ll be watching his new movie with his girlfriend, but in general:
“I try not to let holidays dictate when I’m going to be romantic with my lady. I try to be romantic and loving all year round.”

David Sutcliffe talks Gilmore Girls
David Sutcliffe attended the Sexiest Stars Party back in May of this year, and while there gave an interview in which he reflected on his Gilmore Girls experience, as Christopher Hayden. He talked about how much he loved being a part of the show, although he was disappointed with his storyline. David says he and Lauren Graham “keep up” and will “always be friends.”
In the interview, he was talking about his guest role on Private Practice. Since I haven’t reflected on that since earlier in the season, I thought it right to bring that up again. David Sutcliffe has been continuing his guest arc on the show as Officer Kevin Nelson, who has a romantic interest with Addison (Kate Walsh). There have been some fantastic scenes with the couple, as evidenced by this series of scenes from episode 6: Read more

October 7, 2008 by Arieanna
Did you watch the premiere of Private Practice Season 2 on October 1st? If not, I have the summary for you!
The episode, previously entitled “Hiding in Plain Sight” aired as “A Family Thing”. David Sutcliffe returned as Officer Kevin Nelson, who has romantic interests with Addison (Kate Walsh). In the 11 episodes David has scheduled for this season, his character Kevin will be competing against Dr. Pete Wilder (Tim Daly) to win Addison’s affections.
David Sutcliffe will return to Private Practice in the third episode, “Nothing to Talk About”, which will air on October 22nd (he has no appearance, that I know of, in tomorrow night’s episode). In “Nothing to Talk About” Charlotte tries to get Addison to come work at St. Ambrose Hospital with the promise of surgeries. Meanwhile, Addison and Kevin’s relationship heats up (promise of steamy scenes to come!).
Tune in on October 22nd at 9pm ET on ABC for Private Practice “Nothing to Talk About”. Meanwhile, enjoy photos from this episode (and video clips from the premiere) below:

David Sutcliffe (Christopher Hayden on Gilmore Girls) returns to Private Practice for the Season 2 premiere on October 1st on ABC. The episode, entitled “Hiding in Plain Sight”, picks up with a case about a couple who are convinced their baby, conceived via fertility treatments, is not healthy.
David Sutcliffe stars as Officer Kevin Nelson, a cute SWAT officer who is smitten with Addison (Kate Walsh). His storyline with Addison was put on hold due to the writers’ strike, but word has it that we’ll see David Sutcliffe in 11 episodes of Private Practice this season. David’s character, Kevin, competes against Dr. Pete Wilder (Tim Daly) to win over Addison’s heart. And that we can expect some steamy scenes this season.
